I fear Philly could add him to be their slot. He blocks, he will be able to get open against your #3 CB, he could be cheap to go play for a winner.
Kupp on Philly would make me cry. I hope he signs with an AFC team that we only play once every 4 years

It sounds like the Jaguars and Steelers showed the most interest in Kupp.
Aaron Rogers would be an excellent QB for Kupp. He’s never had a QB who can change the pocket. He’s might have the speed he use to,but his route’s & willingness to get open are still there.

Not looking good on the trade front.
Still available. Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, DeAndre Hopkins, etc.

I hate this entire thing. I get it, maybe Kupp isn't the same as 3 years ago. But just wish it was handled better. He's been a class act and this "we're looking to trade him immediately or release him" so publically just sucks. He's been everything right with the league and the team. Just wish it went down better for him and his family. Is it just me?

Rant over.

I figured he wouldn't be tradable, teams are too smart for that. He'll be released and while they might miss him in FA they aren't going to overpay for a WR that's been injured the last 3 seasons and is on the backside of his career.

I never thought they'd be able to trade him. The injury history. Age. Decline. No one's gonna take on a contract like that. Woulda been nice to see him take the pay cut and stick around. But who would do that? Can't blame him for not wanting to. Guys who've played at the highest level like him have pride. He thinks he's still got it. But the body will tell him something different at some point. Best of luck Cooper. You were a big reason why the Los Angeles Rams have a Lombardi in the trophy case.

That's not how I remember it going down. The Rams informed him, and he was (rightfully?) upset and shared it on socials.

The Rams were actually miffed due to it making it harder to get a deal done so they wouldn't have to cut him.

How did they wrong him? Kupp is the one who made it public.

Love to see where that is reported. He seemed surprised by it. I don't claim to have all the facts but sure seemed like he was caught off guard by it.
