When you invest that much money into someone, the roster holes tend to be bigger further away from that position. So we can invest in a better DL this offseason, but the cost would likely be the OL, OLB and/or ILB positions.

I happen to like our current depth at OLB, even without Fowler or Matthews if that's how it works out. ILB depth will be determined more by what becomes of Littleton, but coupled with what we have and a lower cost free agent, we should be OK. jmo.

i'm not for trading Donald but I find it kind of strange that almost everyone on this site thinks that snead is really great at finding great players later in the draft but that first rounder are just a crap shoot. again I do not want to trade Donald but I do find this strange
