Anything’s possible but the Colts aren’t anywhere close to the other 4 teams you mentioned in you’re brutal first 5 games. Not even close. You seem to be so intent on pessimism that you’re ignoring logic and facts. I’m just looking at things based on facts not emotion.
You seem to be devoid of logic and common sense. That our you didn't bother to read my reasoning.

My God it is flashback to the Georgia days. Can we pick up someone else’s leftovers to make up our roster?

From Superbowl to this shit again in 2 seasons.:explode1::sick2::sick2:

Except in the Georgia days we had idiots at every level with their hand in the pot stirring shit. Now we have an elite HC, a good GM, and one of the best owner/cap combinations in the game.

Rams won't be down long. This season's probably gonna suck but there's light at the end of the tunnel. I know you know that.

How many teams without a star quarterback on a rookie deal don't end up in this position after a Superbowl berth?

Which means we didn't put a hit on him. Cause we outrank them on the waiver wire.
A claim? Haha, I hope the Rams aren't tryin to have the poor guy "snuffed" out!! If so, they may need to hire a hit man with an elephant gun, as that is one big dude.

I hadn't heard of the guy previous to this thread. He played 16 games last year and was #4 among Panthers DTs with 15 tackles. I realize interior DL are waaay more than stats.....taking up blockers, etc.....but he played 186 snaps last year.....136 in his first 8 games, 50 in his last 8. He was on the field for double digit snaps in those last 8 games 1 time. Conditioning? 379 lbs is A LOT of weight to carry all year.

We’re going to have to score a lot of points to compete this year, says Cpt Obvious.

I sure hope McVay has an offense that’s ready to go. An offense that isn’t predictable, an offense that doesn’t find itself in 2nd and long, 3rd and long so often. A more physical offense.

Any team that can run on us, and that is likely most of them, can control the clock and keep our offense off the field. While our offense should be pretty good, we have never been a particularly quick strike team to the end zone. We need a better front 5 on the defense if we don't want to be chasing our opponents all the time.
jmo.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in on a tryout
Didn't the Panthers switch to a 4-3?

If so maybe he was a piece that didn't fit anymore which would be a good thing to try him out.

Cheap, bad fit, young talented is the route we are going this season.

The Cowboys are pretty loaded along their defensive front, and there might not be a clear-cut role for Gallimore, the 2020 third-rounder who started 13 games over his first two seasons but saw his role reduced last year.

The top three inside figure to be Osa Odighizuwa, first-round rookie Mazi Smith and Johnathan Hankins, and Dallas might favor keeping Chauncey Golston, who is just a little more versatile than Gallimore. The Cowboys also have fourth-rounder Viliami Fehoko Jr. (who has impressed) and Quinton Bohanna (who can play nose tackle) at their disposal.

One more shot at the 'mountain' ? I don't know if he can pass a Rams physical either, but just the thought of this guy and Bobby Brown stuffing the middle of the DL seems like something we could get behind.

I don't care that he doesn't tackle if he keeps one or two DL off our LBs. Please Rams take a shot. Worst case scenario, he flops. Best case scenario, we have a NT that actually does his job.

As a rookie last year Marquan McCall had 15 combined tackles (7 solo, 8 ast.), 2 TFL's, and 1 QB hit, ... and this with only 186 total defensive snaps. He also plays special teams.
So yes, I'd give him a shot also.
