I couldn't help but cringe watching the Giants continue to attack the Eagles when the Giants got the lead. I felt we should have done the same, instead of turtling while momentum shifted.

Yes, the Eagles needed a few miracles along the way to beat us, but it sure seems we made it MUCH easier for them by going away from play-action easy throws to keep them on their heels.

My $0.02...

McVay needs to regain the killer instinct he had during his first two years. Back then, the opponent was fucked if we jumped out to a big lead. These past several years, I’ve never felt like any lead is big enough because I’ve seen opponents come back to make the games close, if not outright win like the Eagles, after we had a big lead.

I think having a very mobile QB also very much helped the Giants. Dart was extremely good in the pocket last night and had some huge runs. Really think Dart was our target in the 1st this year. The second he was picked we traded down. Likely not a coincidence. I'd certainly take Dart over Ferguson and the Falcons 1st. He also had some tremendous passes that his terrible WR's dropped.

Just need to learn from it. Part of that learning is gonna be beefing up that corner back position. Fixing the goddamn kicking problems.

I don't think McVay has lost his killer instinct. The line hasn't been good enough to hold up for those long developing plays, and there were some misses within the red zone area, such as fumbles, drops, off target throws, penalties.
