I'm saying it is a funny coincidence. And by extension a very bad sign to see this happen right out the gate after he got paid. So as much as Cowherd bugs the fuck out of me he is right to be on this trail.

You are saying you know that there is no connection.

Between the two of us you are the one making assumptions. I am saying the outlook is fucking grim. We'll see how it turns out, however if we were to subscribe to your opinion we'd be clapping along singing fucking kumbaya and pretending this might not be an issue. Which I think is very stupid.

So let's disagree.

Well you seem to think for some reason Ferguson isn’t doing something right besides listening to his agent ? Saying The Rams medical staff is pretty good.

Now your going to make me listen to the Blanco’s Steven A ,or reverse since Colin has been doing it longer.

I did think about the blood clots, but he had been fine for 3 years and passed a physical. The signing was fine not drafting a swing tackle was the error.

Not TRUE !! Value had to be there & The Rams weren’t going to reach. They got that 1st Rd pick & that was my thought based on timing as well.

Last year not bringing back Ahkello, or Shelton back.

IMO last year is when The Rams should’ve made the deal.I’ve been told they couldn’t have, but I still believe they could’ve signed him ?

The issue was The PEDS! Colin is sort of BS’ing when he talks about Mini Camp. He didn’t go to Maui for a PR team building trip.

Where is the mistake ? Where you a T’ White Fan from the start last season? I liked the idea, but sometimes Mcvay says things that I wonder how he can believe that.Especially upfront.

Funny how financial security seems to change things isn't it.

Pretty poor evaluation imo,but who knows for sure what’s under the sleeve.Usually it’s the leg from the little I know.At least from a friend ,he has to always have compression.

It’s all speculation of what’s the resolve? From what I saw & heard is he didn’t miss any team stuff. There were players who didn’t travel to Maui.

He and Steve Avila were really playing well together,so saying he missed a lot of time after his contract or will is speculation.

This issue coming up now allows them to treat an issue that hes gone through before...
Serious, but treatable issue... adding vet depth was smart

That 8 foot skeleton who plays for the spurs (Wemby) had a blood clot issue last season. He had it treated with blood thinners and is now clear to play.

Hopefully AJ can do the same.

Well Wemby missed the rest of the 2024-25 season. He should be good though.

The fact certain people want to speculate if he was holding back telling The Rams or something like that imo is crazy.

It’s a life threatening disease which needs to be treated asap.
Alaric has been to most of The Rams OTA’s right next to Steve Avila again looking as good as EVER!

Going to Maui for just 3 days of BS camp would be silly after finding out he had blood clots. He’s with his doctors to find out a solution or what’s best for him.

Biggest concerns imo

1. Monitoring the clot & if surgery is needed ?

2.Time - severity of impact ?

3. Diet(no fatty foods) as a OT he needs to keep the pounds on.He looks big,but still a little Fat.

4. Travel - needs to walk though which is good.

5. Weight training? He needs to maintain strength, which could actually be a big issue as well.

Being able to add Quessenbury first because of Big Rob Havenstien.

Now adding DJ Humpries, imo all upgrades from Noteboom,Evans,AJ,and Zack Thomas.

FWIW Wedig has never every played LT. He played RG/RT at Wisconsin and then RT at Indiana. IMO, he is an option at RT not LT. Right now Humphries will start, however, if the Rams feel that this might sideline Jackson for the season, I am sure they will pivot and acquire someone.
You left out him playing lG?

I'll be the first to admit not all players can play on both sides. I for one could never get used to 1st or 2nd after playing the left side of the field most of my life. Even on our own team when ever the Steelers played Kevin Dotson on the Left side when he's only a RG player and does that at a pretty high level.

I'd figure since he played left side and played at a pretty damned good to decent level versus top competition that'll be in the league on Sundays I sure as hell wouldn't bet against him. How much time he might need is another matter but I think the higher percentage chance of finding someone to at least get by as an average starter could damn well be him deep in the season somewhere.

Blood clot treatment typically involves medications like anticoagulants (blood thinners) to prevent clots from growing or breaking off, and in some cases, thrombolytics (clot-busting drugs) to dissolve existing clots.

Regardless of how you feel I don't see any reason to call anyone's opinion or outlook "very stupid".

Dude I have been following you for years. You usually state well thought out debates
without resorting to insults.:beer2:

Calling an opinion stupid is within the rules. Also I guess I am not the superhero you built me up to be. We will all get past this horrific milestone, I promise.

Just on this specific point: everyone is entitled to their opinion, but some opinions really are stupid.

Say, for example, that someone held the opinion that Keith Null (remember him!) was a better quarterback than Kurt Warner: they're entitled to their opinion, but it's patently nonsense.

Opinions should be based on evidence and facts, not plucked out of one's rectum.

Anyway, that's the end of my digression. As you were...

This thread is more speculation than opinion. Perhaps I am worn but don’t you need more information than we have been given to have an opinion? If not then perhaps that explains so many problems in the world today :)

Opinions are like assholes everyone has one!
"I should be in charge," said the brain , "I run all the body's systems, without me nothing would happen."

"I should be in charge," said the heart , "I circulate oxygen and nutrients all over."

"No! I should be in charge," said the stomach, "I process the food that gives us energy."

"I should be in charge," said the legs, "without me the body couldn't go anywhere."

"I should be in charge," said the eyes, "I allow the body to see where it goes." "I should be in charge," said the anus, "I am responsible for waste removal."

All of the other body parts laughed at the anus and insulted him. So he shut down. Within a few days, the brain had a terrible headache, the stomach was bloated, the legs got wobbly, the eyes got watery, and the heart pumped toxic blood. They all decided that the anus should be the boss.

What is the moral of the story? Even though everybody else does all of the work the ass hole is usually in charge.

This is a bullshit analogy, I don’t know how many times my dick has proclaimed it’s in charge and absolutely overridden the whole system! lol

Where is that in that list? :lying::laugh1:
