Yeah, with Limmer, Shelton and McMahon I think three battling at C is enough, but, who knows? He finished his USC career at Center. SO - imo at his size playing center might be his best position?
He handle himself well a UDRFA.A true surprise, and he helped keep things together for The Rams.
Competition is good, but Shelton only brings a positive to The O”Line.

I like the potential of both Dedich and McMahon but who knows what the coaches think of their potential.
Id certainly like to add a swing tackle as well.I didn't think we needed a center that much, especially not Shelton. I think Limmer, Dedich, and McMahon were a solid group, and you still have guys like Leveston who could show out at guard.
I'm currently hoping we take a chance on Jedrick Wills as a swing tackle, if we're not taking one in the draft. Just, please no more Noteboom.
Who was The Rams staters at LT in the 2024 preseason? I’m not going to try to out think The Rams front office on Shelton, but I’ll agree with the signing & IMO The Rams would have done SO much better with him as a starting Center last season.I didn't think we needed a center that much, especially not Shelton. Agree or disagree, Rams seem to want to recreate the chemistry and communication of the 2023 oline who together were a top 5 unit by the end of the year. Les says it all right there.Confirmed the starter

I'm strongly agreeing on it.Agree or disagree, Rams seem to want to recreate the chemistry and communication of the 2023 oline who together were a top 5 unit by the end of the year. Les says it all right there.
Interesting. Novice fans like myself are probably thinking why not go for someone like Ryan Kelly for a little more $$. But no one knows what Shelton brings to the table better than McSnead. So I trust that they picked the better option based on ability vs cost. So other than a depth pick at OT (Rookie, McClendon, Noteboom at vet minimum) I believe the Rams feel they are solid at OL for 2025.Bleh
Big fuckin mistakeConfirmed the starter

I highly doubt bringing back Shelton had anything to do with Stafford coming back. Makes zero sense to me.I wonder if Shelton was part of the Stafford contract discussions/ negotiations. Meaning he’s someone that he wanted back due to too many call issues with the rookie. So Snead agreeing to bring him back help get Stafford on board without a significant salary/contract adjustment. Idk Food for thought
Lets sign Faulk while we are at it then!Agree or disagree, Rams seem to want to recreate the chemistry and communication of the 2023 oline who together were a top 5 unit by the end of the year. Les says it all right there.
Not sure you read my comments - maybe you jumped to a conclusion. I didn’t mean whatsoever that it had something to do with him coming back or not. I said Stafford wanted him (over what he had in 2024) and possibly requested him to return (and maybe accepted less money to do so).I highly doubt bringing back Shelton had anything to do with Stafford coming back. You literally said, "I wonder if Shelton was part of the Stafford contract discussions/ negotiations. Meaning he’s someone that he wanted back due to too many call issues with the rookie. So Snead agreeing to bring him back help get Stafford on board...". How did I misinterpret that? Lol.....now could Stafford have suggested a vet center as an upgrade for communication purposes after he signed? Possibly, but him specifically requesting Shelton doesn't seem very believable to me at least. I hope I'm dead ass wrong about Shelton by the way but I'm not super confident on that one. Hopefully Limmer truly improves by leaps and bounds but that's also no guarantee. Not sure you read my comments - maybe you jumped to a conclusion.
