You know damned well how much I celebrated this season and wouldn't get negative at all about the lows and kept positive about where this team can go so don't go there with me on the bolded.

As for the rest I am pretty sure you yourself have said this board is for the very discussions you're telling me now not to do? Got it I'll never again question a free agent signing or draft pick.

All I've asked is somebody who is high on this signing to give me their reason for not using the guy last year except to cover injuries when McVay is talking this high on the guy. I don't get it but others apparently do and I'm asking for them to make it make sense. They talk about paying him for future production which makes no sense. If he was viewed so highly why sit him on the bench in your biggest game of they year. I'm hoping somebody can explain why it makes sense to them but so far nothing has any kind of reality to it.
First of all, even though I quoted you, it wasn't directed particularly AT you. I realize that most of your posts are positive towards the Rams organization. But what gets me is when members rail on the club for a few players as if they either know more or HAVE to know why the organization made the moves they made. It's human nature to wonder about things. It seems curious to me however, the need to bash the organization for moves that can't be fully understood from any of our positions.

The question you ask is certainly legitimate. But simply adding "Atwell" to what was essentially a bitch list was what caught my eye. It wasn't really a discussion point IMO. As to the question you ask, I think it has been addressed by several people on the board. Answered? Well, we can't know that until we see the proof in the pudding. McVay has said he underutilized TuTu. He has also said or hinted that he wants more explosiveness on offense. With the release of Kupp and the signing of Adams, it seems to me that he is looking at a fairly significant redesign of the offense.

Regarding the fact that TuTu didn't get any snaps in the playoff game against the Beagles, it may be a head scratcher. But I'm also guessing that it was mostly about match ups and also dancing with the date that brought you to the dance. For example, even though we moved on from Kupp after that game, he still was a big body against those corners and gave them probably better opportunities along with his blocking abilities against THAT team. I don't think for a second that Kupp was cut to make more opportunities for TuTu. It was probably closer to the idea that they needed more from the resources that were tied up in his position in McVay's system and that McVay was tired of injuries derailing the season. I get that $10 million dollars seems to be an overpay for someone who has seemingly been largely an afterthought on offense. But is it really THAT out of whack or crippling to the team?

It's certainly fair to question. And I have nothing against discussions wondering why a particular move was made. But it seems there is an awful lot of misplaced angst going on when this organization has given us fairly little to be upset about. It boggles my mind when people use terms like depressing, or ask WTF are they thinking rather than discussing the moves rationally. Reeder is a fairly good example. Even though virtually the whole board disagreed with keeping him on, he had certain tools that clearly McVay appreciated - or at least appreciated more than whatever alternatives he felt he had at his disposal.

I guess I would just like to see a little more positivity and a little less angst thrown towards team moves and also fellow members on this board. I don't think that's a huge ask.

What I know:

-Tutu was successful stretching the field with his speed, findings space in the middle of the field and filling in when other WRs were injured.
-Tutu was not successful contesting balls, being a red zone target, or being a physical WR (including blocking).
- Tutu was only played/targeted when Nacua or Kupp were injured.
-Tutu was signed to a one year $10m contract. No commitment to him beyond this year.

What I think:

-McVay values Tutu’s speed and ability to find space in the middle of the field. The Rams don’t have another WR currently on the roster with those skills. And McVay covets that’s dimension.
-McVay doesn’t want to use his draft picks to reach for a Tutu replacement but may draft one that could take over that role next year.
-Tutu will get more opportunities this year (especially early) to make a case for keeping him beyond this year.
I’ve been watching the season over and focusing on Tutu and Whittington. Tutu rounds off his routes pretty badly. He cannot make sharp cuts. I’m guessing it’s his thin frame/skinny legs. He lacks the strength to sink his hips a little and change direction.

Whittington wasn’t getting good separation running routes, but he’s much better with Yac. I’m interested to see if they really commit to using him as a FB like Jourdan reported. He could produce in that role.

It seems that receiver has to be a priority in this draft. I’d say a player to take over for Adams in time and one to take Tutu’s spot.
