100 percent - saw quite a few of them commenting about their next SB victory already… I’m hoping this implodes on them and this season is the start of if 15 years in the wilderness

However, there is something very Dr Evil satisfaction like that they have dominated us for four years; yet the one and only game that truly mattered they lost. That was a SB championship for whoever won - and it was us. How bitter it must be for them to think about that and have it over them forever. It’s quite delicious from my standpoint.

Missed the trade news but, I like reading through the entire thread to see the reactions.

I wanted to see CMC contract. From here it looks like it is not guaranteed. If not the Whiners I think would have to do a new deal.

They didn't give up the farm for CMC. I think the Rams can get a solid RB in a trade for much less as has been mentioned. He fits the offense and the Whiners O line is not nearly as good as in the past so he should make them look better. He really can make an impact in the passing game. Even with Jimmy G the passing options are top-level. If he stays healthy it's a solid move. It's worth the risk.

Some of the LA writers are saying the rams got outmaneuvered, I’m curious to hear JRodrigue’s take on it. How serious was McVay’s interest in CMC? And how is Shanny gonna use him, it’s one thing to chew up and spit out low round guys and udfa’s but the first time he gets hurt they’re gonna hear about it, especially if it’s this year.
This is a ballsy move for sure, Garapalo’s a FA next year and they still don’t know about Lance. But the rams came pretty close with an outstanding rb and a so so qb themselves so maybe it’ll work.

Talking heads are saying 1 more weapon for the niners offense but if that game is any indication they want to keep from Garapalo from needing to win games for them. All this talk about the best D in the league and the Chiefs had 500 yds of offense, in SF no less. But they don’t need to worry about the Bills or Chiefs now they just need to worry about the west which is still up for grabs.
They looked pretty ordinary against a suspect kc defense but Spags is not one to sit back and wait, he will send the house and roll the dice. Josh Allen was able to make plays with his arm and legs whereas Jimmy is Jimmy.

I assume CMC is going to be more dangerous once he's fully integrated. He got a full camp with McAdoo so it shouldn't take him too long as he's going from one wco branch to another, but figure he'll be better his third week with Shanny than he was in the first one for example. Because the blocking scheme is probably different in its keys and whatnot for him.

That said I don't think CMC is going to be some bell cow for Shanny. He's kind of a McVay back, all passcatchy and easily injured. Just way more talented than our backs. Where I think he's going to give us fits is Shanny scheming him into space.

Vision, cutting ability, explosiveness, speed, quickness... CMC just looked like he had so much more juice as compared to plodding Akers.

Yup....I'm sure if we got Hunt, we'd say the same thing. I want Jacobs 1st and foremost but I don't see the Raiders trading him. Gotta imagine the Browns would be looking to pick up draft picks as I'm confident Hunt walks next year in FA.

In his limited carries yesterday… I thought on 2 occasions, particularly 1 of them, he got taken down awkwardly.

I would have been excited to get him, but I don’t trust him to hold up.
