It's bit concerning that the defense seemed to play better when Eric Henderson was calling the plays. But hey it's preseason.

Shula hit on a lot of good points. I believe McVay has been grooming Shula for this position. I stated before he has a great opportunity to learn from the previous very good veteran defensive coordinators. He made references to learning from them.
It's about the players. He just needs a few position improvements to make the Rams defense top-notch. He has paid his dues to become a DC for the Rams.
