I just took it as Suh being wound too tight. Stafford went down and the when he fell it was just incidental that his knees were bent.

Or Im guessing that since he knows Suh maybe his instincts were to protect himself from being landed on and injured. Suh would have gladly taken a 15 yard penalty to knock Stafford out of the game.

If Matthew doesn’t put his knees up and Suh lands on him would that be a penalty?

Im just glad Hochuli decided to set the tone early and not let Tampa Bay play any stupid games crying to the refs. I wouldn’t put it past Brady or Arians to coach players to do that crap. It’s worked for Tommy and Belicheat his entire career.
Yeah... it seems like the refs had a head's up that Tampa has a reputation of lobbying for flags and they decided they were going to have none of that on Sunday.

I saw the kick. It wasn’t intentional and it wasn’t hard either. It happens when the upper torso goes to the ground and the legs flail and lightly kick up.

For such a big guy, Suh acts quite fragile at times, emotionally speaking.
It was subtle but Stafford did extend his leg into Suh's groin area. I see why he was upset but it wasn't going to cause any harm and is nothing he can prove.

Suh isn't going to get much credibility in this kind of case except by a few nutballs or whiney tampon fans.

A QB could practically stomp his head with merely a shrug from NFL fans that know his history.

Seeing a get the fuck off me shove by Stafford hurt his feelings? Yeah... Fuck off Suh.

Comment / Observation on Ndamukong Suh.

On the 44-yard-pass to Kupp that set-up the game-winner, Suh came-free and made the hit on Stafford. Rather than turn-back and look in the direction of the ball to see the result, Suh continued to look forward and towards the stands. He appeared to enjoy the moment, believing his pressure and hit had a good result.

Replays cut-off before I can see Suh's reaction once he figured-out that the Rams had made huge play. Hoping to get an All-22-view that might show some more detail. Like to think his emotions quickly went from feeling pride/joy in making a big-play ... to a "what-the-hell just happened!" ... to (as he is running down the field) thinking 'holy-fuck, the Rams are going to end our season'!!!.

Undoubtedly it was on accident. I watched it about 10 times and still don't see anything wrong w what Stafford did. Everything happens so fast in those situations I'm sure he had zero time to actually think to himself, I'm gonna kick Suh in the balls.

Either way it's football things will happen. No need for Suh to be a clown and act a fool.

I don't think Stafford had mal-intentions but think about it like this...imagine something unexpectedly brushing near your stuff that. You cringe, even if the touch is light. I'm sure a light press of cleats against the groin would make any man freak out. Suh could have cursed him out and walked away w/o a penalty, but he lingered and said something that went too far.

Its well known in the league that if you want to limit Suh's ability piss him off.

Who cares what Charlie says. We all know the things that King Kong has done. Its called Karma.

Looked like he was trying to keep Suh's weight off him.
Agreed. It looked like a "get the fuck off me" type reaction. Stafford doesn't give a fuck what Suh thinks, it was just competition there and he was pissed the play got disrupted.

9 is playing like a man possessed these past two games. He was the best player on the field in both playoff games and it wasn't close in either of them.

2 things
1. It was obviously (to me at least) not a kick, it was a push..
2.Even if it had been a kick, SUE complaining about it would be akin to Rodney Harrison calling somebody a dirty player... PLEASE!!!

Nah as a black belt in Brazilian jujitsu my balls and pp can you tell you how many times my nuts have been treated like a speed bag. I've never disrespected one of my peers like that. Suhs always been a hot head. Even from the days of him stepping on players heads.

What bothers me more is where our blocking scheme where Rob Havenstein is right in front of a 314 pound all-pro DT run free @ his QB :wow2::sur:.

......meanwhile, Hav at the snap instantly went looking for an ILB'er to hit a few seconds later.

I read that he didn't even bother running down the field once he realized what happened and went to the sideline and the Bucs had to sub someone in for him quickly which is the last player you see running into the picture right before Stafford spikes the ball.

I'm sure if I had my soul ripped from my body I'd mope off the field like a whiny brat too.

I usually don't chime in when it's an opinion but I'll throw it out there today. It looks to me that from the angle Suh was coming at Stafford, Suh would need to change his path to keep things from happening. Stafford was in a position he was going down and Suh knew it but wanted to add a "take that with you ..." at the end (just like the last pass from Stafford to Kupp ...). If Stafford hadn't raised his legs (and he would have been on his back to do that ....) he could have been hurt. It was a bang/bang play but Suh might have been penalized for "body weight on top of QB".

Just my 2 cents.
