Plenty. Off the top of my head:
Jets/Giants are in Jersey, Redskins play in Maryland, Garbage 9ers in Santa Clara.
Haha, didnt know America has a jersey and a new jersey.
Redskins looks close on a map but its not the point lol, if they played by the pentagon they could make some sort of argument lmao

So its close enough that makes virtually no difference for fans, but Missouri loses yet another NFL team? Sign me up.

So Kansas City isn't in Kansas? I'm confused.

One of my favorite dumb SF Giants fans moments was one holding a sign in the world series for the Royals to go back to Kansas.

I never knew that Leavenworth Prison is only 50 miles from Arrowhead Stadium. That explains the number of maximum security fans that are there on Sundays. They escape and then are back inside before head count.

I'm learning lots about American geography, are there any other nfl teams who dont play in the place they are named after?
There are plenty, Both New York teams, San Francisco and Dallas are the first two I can think of. It happens because there isn't much room for new stadiums to be built in some of these cities.

Just New Jersey. We call it Jersey since most Americans have no idea there’s a Jersey in England, part of the Channel Islands and it’s shorter, but we don’t do that for New Mexico or New York, though… we’re weird with our geography.

Interesting. Are all European teams' stadiums in the actual city of their name? In the US, it seems they try to at least get as close as they can to the city but with the stretching of metropolitan areas, they are sometimes even in other states. It can take up so much land to build a stadium these days that unless you are taking one down to build another in its place, you have to get outside of the city. I remember a long time ago The Bengals were talking about building their stadium across the river in Kentucky.

Yeah. The whiners play in Santa Clara, the Giants and Yets play in New Jersey, Rams play in Inglewood, the old Seattle Supersonics basketball team played in Tacoma. Cowgurlz play in Arlington, Redskins - Maryland, Bills - Orchard Park, etc... It's more that the teams play in the general metropolitan area.

1.8 billion in public $$ to an industry that literally prints money.

Priorities, folks.
Right? I wonder how much of that gets returned to the taxpayers of that city/state. I'm ok with cities/states going after industries that will help their citizens and tax base into the future. Is this really a boon to the city/state? I'd like to see their ROI schedule.

Exactly.
I'm not a "no, never, ever, ever" on subsidies.. but it needs to make real sense.

Contracts going to the biggest campaign donors, then of course kickbacks to the elected people. All for the fans though who get to pay much more for a ticket because they'll have fewer seats. Of course parking will go way up. All for the fans though.

At least the Bears stadium is paid for by them. All they're wanting is the infrastructure paid for.
I like the fact that the Chiefs, Browns & Bears are moving inside thus protecting my beloved Rams from inclement weather in three new venues.

Actually had a Bills fan tell me, it would be too difficult to build a roof to hold up with so much snow and I asked how they were able to do in Minneapolis and even in nearby Syracuse?

Fans need to start voting with their wallets.
They are, in most areas. ESK, the Bears and others have done it through other avenues besides tax payer dollars. IMO, I can appreciate the pushback and was upset with all the money New York came up with for the Bills building a stadium with no roof.
