I'm learning lots about American geography, are there any other nfl teams who dont play in the place they are named after?
Plenty. Off the top of my head:I'm learning lots about American geography, are there any other nfl teams who dont play in the place they are named after?
Haha, didnt know America has a jersey and a new jersey.Plenty. Off the top of my head:
Jets/Giants are in Jersey, Redskins play in Maryland, Garbage 9ers in Santa Clara.
One of my favorite dumb SF Giants fans moments was one holding a sign in the world series for the Royals to go back to Kansas..
So Kansas City isn't in Kansas? I'm confused.

There are plenty, Both New York teams, San Francisco and Dallas are the first two I can think of. It happens because there isn't much room for new stadiums to be built in some of these cities.I'm learning lots about American geography, are there any other nfl teams who dont play in the place they are named after?
Don't forget the San Diego Chargers.Plenty. Off the top of my head:

Redskins looks close on a map but its not the point lol, if they played by the pentagon they could make some sort of argument lmao
Interesting. Are all European teams' stadiums in the actual city of their name? In the US, it seems they try to at least get as close as they can to the city but with the stretching of metropolitan areas, they are sometimes even in other states. It can take up so much land to build a stadium these days that unless you are taking one down to build another in its place, you have to get outside of the city. I remember a long time ago The Bengals were talking about building their stadium across the river in Kentucky.I'm learning lots about American geography, are there any other nfl teams who dont play in the place they are named after?
Right? I wonder how much of that gets returned to the taxpayers of that city/state. I'm ok with cities/states going after industries that will help their citizens and tax base into the future. Is this really a boon to the city/state? I'd like to see their ROI schedule.1.8 billion in public $$ to an industry that literally prints money.
Priorities, folks.

Aint that the truthwe’re weird with our geography.
All part of his master plan to finally have Creed Humphrey on his team.Bandwagon’er gonna be a Chiefs fan now!
I like the fact that the Chiefs, Browns & Bears are moving inside thus protecting my beloved Rams from inclement weather in three new venues. At least the Bears stadium is paid for by them. All they're wanting is the infrastructure paid for.
They are, in most areas. ESK, the Bears and others have done it through other avenues besides tax payer dollars. IMO, I can appreciate the pushback and was upset with all the money New York came up with for the Bills building a stadium with no roof.Fans need to start voting with their wallets.
