University of Memphis has a pretty good center who can probably be had in the 7th round or as a priority free agent. Of course, his name escapes me at the moment.

SO Ram,

You were correct in your prediction they would ignore the OL. Nice call.

Personally, I think it was a big mistake. I see Blythe as easily upgradeable and have little faith in Allen. Our center play has been below average since Sully. McSnead don’t share my view and I honestly hope they.... and you, are right. That would be awesome.

If things go sour on the OL next season, really the only thing that could hold our offense back sans injury, you don’t have to worry about me coming back with “I told you so” comments. I’m far too classy and respectful to do that to a fellow Ram Brother.
Yes he was. Give him credit for that call & it went against the common thought here in ROD'ville.

It may indicate that most underestimated the latent quality that was contained in our OL unit @ this time.

One might think that Kromer is content with having Austin Blythe going into this TC/ preseason for the first time as the starting center. Kromer has to believe that Brian Allen who is going into his 3rd season... is an upgrade over 2019 @ reserve center who was Coleman Shelton. This former 2019 top reserve OC is now available to be considered as a versatile 3 post interior OL'er. Like Allen this will be Shelton's 3rd TC & preseason too but this will be his first as a Ram!

Then on top of those three Kromer has a pure large OC in Nate Trewyn who will enter his 2nd TC/ preseason & first time as a Ram. There's Jeremiah Kolone who Kromer has had here since 2018 going in his 3rd Ram pre-season.

For sure and makes sense. I really like our OL talent, except C. Wonder if they are thinking of trying Corbett there?

Great class !! It’s all good & with respect it pisses me off when it’s called the WRONG way with RAM Players. It is not about me, it’s about the organization.
When I see YOUNG OFFENSIVE LINEMAN stepping up & get NO PROPS for there HARD WORK Under Pressure it’s upsetting.
As far as Sullivan goes I was Pissed Off!! I was there watching Sullivan & Whitworth bring the Offensive Line together. Roger Saffold was NOT A TEAM LEADER!!! He was soon how an Offensive Line Mends Together.
—Austin Blythe?? He is NOT a TRUE LG, he is a CENTER Jared Goff feels confident about. Just got back on a couple plays in the Niner game. Dude stepped up. Add he learned a Heck of A Lot From Sullivan. He also has been Rehabbing with The Rams top lineman in Allen,Whitworth,Noteboom,& Havenstien at seasons end.

Add Edwards,Evans, & Cobertt as backups to that group who were all starters to begin last season.

I hate the Fact Brian Allen & Noteboom both were given starting jobs without ANY NFL EXPERIENCE!!!

It’s all good Wisconsin Ram!! You are a class guy & I really careless what posters truly think of me. I just post my believes & waited a long time to call out The NON-BELIEVERS of this YOUNG RAMS Group. I’ve posted my on predictions way back. When The Rams had a Chance I’d rather have seen Bobby Evans get his chance over Rob Havenstien.
Now I’m all for COMPETITION at ALL SPOTS!!! YES WHITWORTH is a STuD

No worries. Rams drafted Cam Akers who is used to running behind horrible O lines.

Blah Blah Blah - What about Demby who you were so HIGH on 3 years ago.

I get it, yes Williams sucked the season before that during McVays Rookie season. Who were the guys you wanted in 2017 ???

Roger Saffold did not have a great track record until he found a spot in between 2 Veterans .

What has changed since 2017,2018,2019 ??? Roger Saffold.
Did you even see Austin Corbett in training camp ?? Wasn’t he an early 2nd rd draft pick as well.
Didn’t Evans & Edwards perform well for rookie 22 year olds ?? I’d say I was impressed & especially how bad they looked in trading camp!!!

Enjoy the season. Maybe Todd Gurley runs for another 1’000 yards. I’ll enjoy watching this Offensive Line of the Future perform with Cam Akers a lot more than I would’ve with Todd Gurley. As well as Henderson & Brown.

I’m sure Glad Tyler Higbee has come on. Everett was right on the Kusp as well. I’m with MCSNEAD & Kromer about Them Being Teacher & Mentors of Men.

I get what everyone's saying about Blythe. But Blythe was the guy D's continually attacked to get into our backfield & stop plays. Ok, he was our LG, but he's still going to be the weak link on the line if he's our C. I really wanted a stud C that won't get walked back into our backfield almost every play. oh well.

Go Rams

Don't know where you get that I was high on Demby So Ram. I attended every TC practice and scrimmage last year and posted in my camp reports how bad I thought Demby was (among other O linemen). I was also the first to call out Havenstien as being fat, slow and out of shape. VetRamFan and I were very disappointed in what we saw from the entire OL during TC.

I'm very disappointed the Rams ignored the OL this draft. (Yeah, they scrapped the bottom in the 7th) I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong when I get to TC and see major improvement. This OL going from rated 31st to middle of the pack with the same group seems like fantasy.

your welcome. Great call on the OL .

Down here in the deep south we still do not know what Covid19 looks like to be afraid of it. No one has it or seen it. Normally we would run it over with our trucks & then get out & shoot it & then look it over to see if we can eat it.

Most of us have been outside in the hot sun working on skin cancer the last few months on our property. So we know its does not like the sun. If I really want to avoid Covid19 I'll take off my shirt I am sure to scare it to death if Mrs. Covi19 happens by.

That's funny my son-in-law who is a rabid Noles fan call me this morning & said the same thing bubbaramfan. If Akers does get a block he just might score with it.

I am also taken aback by the total lack of attention paid to the OL in this draft....an uneasy feeling situation is present over this.:cautious:

sounds good. All I can say is will see. I believe Rob Havenstien earns his starting job back.
The depth will be all that much better as well with Evans & Brewer having another season under there belt. Edwards had never played guard before last season so the learning curve was tough at first. I think he moving forward we’ll see a big difference.

I tried to tell you guys that there's enough prospects already signed to the OL.
And that's what they're running with. :)

I believe they plan to develop a Center out of Corbett eventually.
