Better than I could have hoped for after we were eliminated - OT loss for the 9ers!

Soul-snatching loss.

This saved the game and gave Mahomes a chance to get the ball back.

...
There are so many One-Key-Play plays in a game this close.

On K.C.'s final drive in regulation, it had the ball on the eleven with ten seconds on the clock and one timeout. After an incompletion on a pass attempt to Kelce, the Chiefs kicked the game tying FG to force OT.

Replay showed, and Dopey Romo pointed out, that Rashee Rice was wide-open at the five. He probably walks in for the Game-winner in regulation but Mahomes did not see him (Rice and Mahomes had words on the sidelines; and the announcers discussed it). Even if Rice fell down or was tackled short, the Chiefs would have used their timeout and kicked the FG.

The evil-Niners were very lucky on that play because it should have ended the game right then.

Spags called a brilliant game.
100% and it happens multiple times a game for the Chiefs. It is not personnel, its play call/scheme.

I hope our next defense uses the same approach.

9ers lost, but still not pleased with who won the game. I could have predicted it after the refs kept adding time to the clock on their final drive in regulation. But I already knew the game was fixed before hand.
Fixed? Niners had chances but they didn’t take advantage. They had some bad fortune that had nothing to do with the refs. Blocked xp, fumbled punt, they even benefited from calls, holding in the Chiefs secondary on a 3rd down stop, lineman downfield? On 9er td.
Last year people were upset the Chiefs got a holding call go their way, this year I didn’t see anything like that.

9ers also benefited from a couple of lousy spots as well as the refs swallowing their whistles on a couple of defensive holding calls.

fuck them.

Or a mediocre player not picking up his assignment? Aside from Dirty Trent their OL is very very mediocre.
Fair. Just saying it looked like there were several things that could’ve gone wrong. Including your scenario.

Not to mention illegal man downfield on the trick play that CMC scored. And the horse collar call was incorrect because Purdy wasn't tackled by the horse collar on a critical third down play. That and Kelce getting a bad spot that prevented a first down.

The refs helped the whiners and they still lost.
