My brother and I were at the game. What a roller coaster. But when Puka scored in OT, the Colts fans went silent and immediately began to file out. There were quite a few Rams fans there and the Colts fans were cool to us. Great experience. Great game. I love Stafford and Puka and can’t wait for Kupp to come back.

If the o line continues to play like they have and McVay stays committed to the run, they can have a chance in any game.

HORNS UP!!!

Honestly this OL lineup looked like it should be our first string group now. Dotson looked really strong to my eyes. I’ve wanted this kind of OL for years. :)
yeah maybe once they play together and build that chemistry. They had a rough spell from just before until after the Stafford injury even though the Injury was a missed WR assignment as well

Just bask in the win brothers. This was a gutsy win both offensively and defensively. Donald was not going to be denied a win.

Young is raw as hell but damn his motor and effort are outstanding He's only going to get better.

With Kupp and Puka this team has WR 1 & 1A. When Coop returns, secondary play man coverage at their peril.

Let's see how many of the media discount the Rams now. It sure didn't look like a team that wants to tank LOL.

Yeah, but we had a few favorable calls too. It evened out. I think McVay took his foot of the gas. He was too comfortable playing for field goals after going up by 17.
I agree. I think it's a blind spot Mcvay has in his strategy. There was so much time left when he started to go conservative, and it wasn't the first time.

Mcvay did get back to the run game and ultimately called great plays in crunch time, so he's still a G.

But A Jackson beat out Boom at LT, and Jackson will probably return in a week or two at most (since he almost was able to play today)

Also 70 Boom at RG will likely send 69 back to the bench
I don't know. I think Boom looked better today at LT then Jackson has looked. Though Jackson did have to deal with Hendrickson who can be a monster to deal with. Still going through the Indy tape, so maybe Boom had more breakdowns then it seemed.

Either way I like Dotson so far more at guard then Boom. I almost would rather have Boom or Jackson as depth. We know someone is going to get dinged up and those guys can plug in anywhere except center.

The last drive before the half was particularly irksome. Why just run every down? Stafford was playing so well. Keep the momentum going into the half by going for another td. He played for a fg and got screwed.

How many times do the Rams have to keep opponents in games just before the half? Go for the throat while they're down.

.

Agreed, then on 3rd and 4 in the 3rd quarter we run and settle for a 51 yard FG rather then throwing the ball for a first down.

One bad call by McVay and the game goes south (on the play that Stafford gets hurt).

If not for that single bad call, the game is a total blowout.

Just goes to show the margin of error that we're dealing with.

Heroic victory for the team. The legend of Stafford continues. And the legend of Puka is just getting started.

Gonna be fun to see Puka and Kupp on the field. This should also open up opportunities for Atwell since those 2 will certainly catch the attention of defenses. Hitting a homerun with Puka has certainly accelerated our "remodel" big time. It isn't common to hit on such a talent in the 5th round but so happy we did. Great job on the draft Les, gotta be one of you're best so far. So much young, high motor, and talented players now.

I
Could not agree more. I think Witherspoon and Yeast have both been incredible. Young seems to get some consistent pressure....same with Turner.

Run d has been pretty stout save for a few big ones that popped.
Young has 2 sacks and leads the team in QB hits (8).

I get your point and he does have a tendency to conservatism - but the statistics say it works. What are we now, 40-something and 1 when leading at the half under McVay?

Chalk me up as another REALLY impressed with Witherspoon. I was NOT expecting this kind of impact when they signed him. Dude needs way more props than he is getting as the savvy vet leading the young secondary.

Even though this was a frustrating game to see a 23-0 lead evaporate, the GWD at the end garnishes all the attention... and cause for celebration! Long before the Puka TD someone was saying it's all setting up Stafford to take us to the win... and that was correct! He now has 43 GWDs tying "Fav...ruh."

He has a history of being inconsistent during a season so I'm hoping for the best. But yes he's been very solid so fat a good addition
