** Skip Bayless; I'm still not sold on the Rams!

Bayless is paid big money to get people to watch him, not to have intelligent takes. It's a shtick. I don't watch the guy because I don't find the deliberate ignorance to be amusing.

Goff still found a way to get it done by the way. Did he miss throws? Yes, has he had better games? freak yeah. But 3 touchdowns and almost three hundred yards is no accident. My boy Goff is going to need some bandaids after how much people threw him under the bus.
Not to mention dude was punched in the mouth all day long! He should make a timex commercial, keeps on ticking!

Ye
I was really surprised, with the early blitzing and pressure GB was brining, we didn't throw a single RB Screen today. Maybe keeping it off the film for the next 2 weeks? I don't know. You gotta win the game you are playing. And... RUN LEFT MORE.
Yeah, I was thinking the screen game would have slowed the blitzing!

The pyramid of success is a great book for young athletes. My son still has the pyramid pinned next to his door for reference. It gets pretty religious just be ready
I remember one of Wooden’s players say it literally started with how to tie your shoelaces. It seems to be paying off big time with none of the stupid penalties that marked the years between Martz and McVay.

It's worth keeping a few things in mind too.
1. Cooper Kupp is our blitz killer. He gets quick separation on third downs. When he's healthy, Goff looks to him when blitzed, and we make teams pay more often than not.
2. The Packers DL was having a day. It wasn't just the blitz. We weren't picking it up badly. The problem was that the Packers DL was winning the one on ones that the blitz created.
3. McVay did seem to have an off day. It feels like he times up blitzes and nails them with passes to Gurley. That didn't happen too often today.
Agree on all three points. Even though Reynolds had a good game today, there is a different feel to our offense with Kupp. All the bad I saw today can be fixed. This win will go a long way over the next three weeks and beyond.

Guy took a lot of unwarranted grief around here and stepped up big time!

And that's why the prediction thread cracks me up. People expecting a blow out or 2 touch down win every week just baffles me.

And we still haven't beaten a good team :)
Yeah, ha ha. I called it a three point game, 38-35. It was just 2 a point difference. The next game will give us an idea if we really are good. Welcome back Cooper Kupp, hopefully.

1969 they started out 11-0, but lost their last three regular season games and then in the playoffs to Minnesota.
That was one of my all time favorite Ram teams. Just couldn't beat them in Minny.
That's one reason why I hate 'em...........

I only watch when Eric the Rambassador is on.

It wasn't that long ago, when we dreamed of getting 8 wins in a season. Think about that. In the Fisher years, Arians would joke and belittle us about being at best, an 8 win team....And he was being generous, because the best we did under Fish was 7-8-1. We jut reeled off 8 straight victories with no losses...

I am euphoric...

In Jeff Fisher's eyes, we still have a chance to go 8-8!

Seemed like an attempt of imposed parity by the league. Such a convenient time to call a penalty against us.
That's exactly what I told my family. Well not exactly. I said they have to find a way to stop the clock and keep Green Bay in it somehow.

Couple thoughts, was surprised Woods was not targeted more today. He usually always is a go to. Maybe their D focused more on taking him out.
Agreed, Defensive holding seemed awful today, saw jerseys being yanked several times. Alexander seemed noticably early on several passes.
Last point, thought McVay made the wrong call on 3rd and 15 by running the ball. When you consider all the scenerios, the only call was to go for the touchdown and make Rodgers need a TD to win!

Seems to have worked out ok.

How do you think it would have worked had the Packers not fumbled?
I'm not so sure Rodgers wouldn't been able to put 3 on the board but we pulled it out thank God!

Donald with three sacks and incomplete on 4th down.

One last thing for me. I discovered something about Goff I can’t believe I never noticed. He looks like Tom Brady. The similarities are actually uncanny. His footwork, pocket presence, throwing motion. Even the way he runs. I’m gunna post a video tomorrow of it. You guys will be pretty shocked at how much they look alike.
