He's feasting in the intermediate range. Watkins could not do that consistently last year.
I kept telling people he is a great route runner that can go long but the short and middle routes have always been his bread and butter. He’s one of those FOOTBALL players you love on your team. He is highly skilled and has the work ethic of Jerry Rice.

Just imagine if Gurley went before the Rams pick to the Giants in 15'. Thus leaving the Rams to take RT Eric Flowers, who they were rumored to have interest in. He would then pair with 2014 1st rounder Greg Robinson to be the Rams future bookend tackles.

I just threw up in my mouth a bit...

Only a bit ???

Yeah...but the Bucs have played two superior teams, also... Loving our 2-0 start but the next 2 games (Chargers and Vikes) will tell much more about us as a team, IMO.

Was going to say something about this while reading this thread.

These last two weeks have been very promising.

More so the next two weeks.

These next two weeks will seriously define this team.

So much fun!

GO RAMS!!!

I'm trying not to be too much of a homer, but I could see Cooks putting up 1400+ yards this year. He's looked unstoppable to this point. McVay's scheme is perfect for him.

Andy Reed’s Chefs will start 8-0 and finish 10-6 en route to a first round bow out.

This year might be different. In college, I said that Mahomes reminded me of Favre, and if a coach could give him time to work out the kinks and tap into it, they might have something. KC smartly did that. And I think they have something.

Chiefs bro.
Nah. Chiefs have been ranked 6-8 behind Rams in the rankings this week. Beating Pittsburg and their crap defense is not enough to jump the Rams. I think Jacksonville even deserves a higher ranking than the Cheifs. So, I stand by my Rams #1...in every ranking!

Chiefs bro.

I had to man, I had to....how could you..

I know this is the celebration thread but Gurley 2.8 YPC?

Flashbacks to 2016. I wonder if Arizona made an effort to stop the run.
They completely put all their eggs in stopping Gurley at the beginning of the game and it took a couple series before Goff made them pay.

Then when they did go to Gurley it was 2nd or 3rd and short or near the goal line where Gurley wasn't going to get more than a couple yards anyway. He had a couple good carries but it was mostly tough running when he was given the ball.

I agree here, if they bow out early it will be because of their defense which is not very good.

Don't forget that Gurley sat out all of the fourth quarter and part of the third quarter. He would have killed them late in the fourth considering how gassed they were. I mean Brown effed em up in the 4th lol

I just got done watching the game being that I had to attend a family gathering and he Rams played outstanding onto next week and hopefully Greg Zuerlein won't be out too long.

I still feel like McVay is using these early games as our real preseason.... we're staying in our base offense pretty much most of the game.... I'm glad we saw a couple of plays to the TE...but really we are focusing on are main weapons right now... getting our 1s sharp and ready for the long haul....

anyways.... that crossing pattern to Everett.... he can really be a weapon in this offense... but our top 3 WRs are locking in with Goff right now.... and we're keeping things pretty basic....and mostly dominating...…

and on defense...I mean the 7 DB line up was something else.... we just have so many weapons on defense...Ekuban is getting in a groove...Littleton is all over the field...and Suh and Donald haven't even gotten into high gear yet...

we're something like 57-0 over our last 6 quarters..

I like this.
