The real value of Mel calling out Tobin was the media actually criticizing a team. I think that just made for a great product. I mean everyone knew Mel was just some guy grading tape. But we also knew Tobin was a bit of a dumbass.

But that decade man. Good grief was it painful.

I think it was the day that the "Draft Show" was born. It went from side attraction to the main event

Still remember that one ... my "who the hell is Isaac Bruce???" dismissal of the Rams 2nd round pick.

Yeah, I was more than a little off on that evaluation. Glad I was wrong though.

Bruuuuce worked hard to get into the Hall.It’s amazing to me the talent that The Rams gathered in 1999. WOW - time & reflecting on life. Tough
