I love how some think no one wanted him, like you actually know something about NFL circles. Wentz is accomplished and super rich. He was likely waiting for an opportunity that was actually worth taking, rather than risk injury at this point in his career, for what?
Played his cards right for sure, smart man.

You know that for sure?
Do you know if Wentz, at that point, wasn't still hoping for a starter to go down and possibly start the rest of the season?

You don't.
Well, now that you say it that way. I guess not. I guess Wentz could have been waiting around for some teams starter and backup and third string QB (if they had one) to get injured so they would call him to start.

Not quite like that.
Views himself as more than a backup.. and if a legit starter went down on a team with a big drop-off to the backup.. (hello Rams and a few other teams), that's the kind of situation he'd be waiting on. Same kind of thing we saw with Flacco.

He signed with the Browns practice squad after Watson got hurt for the last time this season. They promoted him after the backups sucked.

I lost credibility for stating a fact?

The Rams could have had Wentz earlier this year They signed Rypien instead.

Maybe Wentz wanted a starting job and wouldn't sign here as a backup? It's not like he chose Rypien over him. We drafted a guy to be our backup, that had unspecified problems. Maybe you are forgetting that?
