After reading a bunch of whining Cardinals fans try to make excuses for losing to the Rams in their last two games played at the red litter box in the desert, I've noticed a trend of blaming Fisher and Williams for being dirty.
It's hilarious because I can't think of one time that we've crippled their QB on a "dirty" play.
When the team plays hard and lays big hits, they're labeled as dirty.
When the GSOT was carving up opposing defenses with precision, they were called "finesse".

Speaking of the GSOT, the only special QB the Cardinals have ever had was better as a RAM!

Can anyone help me to remember how many times in the Fisher era that the Rams have knocked AZs QBs out of the game?

That seems to be a league wide trend.
Certainly all of the NFC West teams do it.
Never mind they have no evidence.

Honestly, I think that's just a popular meme when it comes to the Rams, probably because of Williams, I don't know. But watching the Fisher/Williams Rams, I can honestly say that I can't recall them taking anyone out on a so-called "dirty" play.

This is an aggressive defense. Yes--they will hit people, and yes--some of the players do seem undisciplined at times. But I see no evidence that this team has targeted a player to take them out in some dirty way.

IIRC...

Derek Anderson
John Skelton
Max Hall
Kevin Kolb
Carson Palmer
Drew Stanton

...have all been forced to the bench by way of being ineffective or injured in the Fisher era.

They destroyed Kevin Kolb in 2012, with 9 freakin sacks. He was beaten, not injured.

Only other time was when Carson Palmer hurt his knee again, but that was a non-contact injury.

Funny though huh? The shitchickens are celebrated with their "Legion of Boom" bullshit and the Rams are "dirty."

Not sure how many ariz QBs the Fisher lead Rams have knocked out but its at least 3 probably more. But it is more arians fault than it is Fishers, if arians didnt insist on throwing deep and slow developing routes when his OL cant protect his QB, he should adapt instead of blaming the D of being dirty because they hit the unprotected QB.

Two games a year, bad OLines, QB's who can't scramble vs an aggressive elite DLine is the reason.

But let them cry dirty tactics...it's a lazy excuse.

I love seeing Arians helplessly throwing a fit on the sidelines. It's a tough climb up from 1-3 dude!

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer out this week

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has gone back and forth this week, but he just made it official.

Quarterback Carson Palmer won’t play this week because of a concussion, and isn’t making the trip to San Francisco, per Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.

Palmer suffered a concussion in last week’s loss to the Rams, and has yet to be cleared by an independent neurologist.

That leaves Drew Stanton at the helm Thursday night against the 49ers, in a matchup of 1-3. They promoted Zac Dysert from the practice squad so they’d have an active backup to Stanton.

I was at that game and after a bit the cardinal fans were chanting for Skelton if my memory serves me right.

That's pretty much one a year. Couldn't do that if you tried.
