Can anyone tell me Henderson's status?

I may have missed it, but having him healthy and available feels like a big deal this weekend in the freezing cold of GB.

He’s on injured reserve and has been for weeks. Done for the year.

Move on from a quality No. 2 RB with a cap number of just over $1.1M?

I don’t think so!
An often injured number two does not make them a legitimate number two.

Even if they were for free.

Kind of fundamental to me.

Wow. Look, I get that Henderson's injured this year, but you simply don't get rid of a talent like him, especially since Brown might not be on the team. Yes, I'd look at a running back this year, but because of Brown possibly leaving, not because Henderson is cut.

It’s frustrating when you have a talent that seems to be injured all the time. Henderson has the talent to be a primary back in the league but obviously doesn’t have the durability to do so. We are a RB by committee team right now and Henderson has somewhat filled a role. He’s still cheap so won’t go anywhere yet. It’s a shame he’s not available for this game because we could really commit to ground and pound on the frozen tundra. I’m sure a few RBs will be brought in through the draft and UDFAs in the hopes they find his replacement of the future.

Is this Malcom Browns last game as a Ram? The Rams are good without Henderson.I think Akers getting extra carries is a good thing.Just as long as he stays healthy.

It's frustrating he's hurt, but the reality is that he played as much as he did this season because current hero Akers was injured. I'm not sticking him with an injury prone label since he (like the rest of the league) had no pre-season and limited training camp. Injuries are way up this year, likely a fair correlation. Brown is a goner after the year, he's the one who'll need to be replaced.

Akers is just as injury prone as Henderson. Both have been in and out all season. I agree with some posters above that we need to draft a RB, or at least we need to see what Jones or Campell has as an option.

His ankle got rolled up on while being tackled. It's not like he has some kind of chronic injury issue or half a dozen concussions. People over use the injury prone description. Some times players just have bad luck and suddenly they don't.

So the guy you’re replacing him with us just as good, just as cheap, and won’t get hurt?

Good to know.
