I think that's a very good question.
It sure is.
All the players have an equitable stake in the season continuing as they will only get paid pro-rated salary for games played, other than guarantees/bonus they've already achieved. (IIRC, from the "revised CBA" )
If players are violating the guidelines, they are doing much more of a disservice to the league than just putting themselves and families at risk.
 


Speaking of no additional positives...



There's a part of my that people want to see this go off the rails, simply because they want to say I told you so. Cam is a name player that's on a popular team. Fact is the Falcons had AJ Terrell test positive last week and barely a cricket was sounded.

Also, this is a new thing, and everyone is learning and personally I think the NFL has done great considering all the logistics that goes into just one NFL game.

And they will be tested early enough tomorrow morning to check again from what I'm told.

Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling about the integrity of these tests doesn't it? So when you get a positive test, then a negative test, which one do you believe? How do they determine which one they go with?

They are testing and retesting every day.
 
And are all these tests graded on a curve?
