Just heard a radio report from Pats beat guy and says that as of right now Cam is the only positive on the team.
So why do they postpone over one player? They have a backup QB right?
Sounds like the NFL and the Patriots up to their usual NFL and Patriots shenanigans.

When was the last time Cam was even a positive for his team? Things are looking up for him.

I assume they're waiting on test results in terms of tracing etc. Not sure.

Because it was 1 player on the Titans ... 3 days later its up to 8

Disease has an incubation period of 5 days on average.

I'm hoping like hell that game gets played this week.. but I wouldn't bet on it.

They're also an extremely low risk for hospitalization or death. Having said that, there are the potentially high risk family/friends/staff around them they need to be vigilant of.

Your point taken though. Healthy rich successful young men need to stretch their legs.

It's certainly much more fatal for the elderly. But it can harm or even devastate younger even healthy people in various ways. It's the various after affects that people are getting that are scary, even when they get over it. I personally know someone in their 30's super athletic and healthy who got it - now he has multiple health issues including high blood pressure.

My mlb team is the White Sox and their 3rd baseman got it early on and was never the same all season.

Most people who get it return to normal - but there are some who may never be the same.

I stand by my statement that this shit is gonna happen and eventually it's gonna happen to our Rams. Then we'll see if the sky is falling. Lol

Shit does happen. Deal with it and move on. Testing is key, which what they are doing.

Not trying to argue be funny..

But with more States trying to get folks back to work, the rallies everywhere by both sides, places that have more folks inside of this air born virus, like bars etc etc/ IMHO at least for the short term, it's gonna grow cause we're trying to ,get back to normal...

BTW don't know it's actually fact, but I heard for every 8 folks infected and being at a rally infect 60, now multiply tah at a rally, indoor gathering...

Someone should do more studies on this Covid 2nd wave thing so we can all act appropriately. Should probably get it published before Nov 3rd though.

Not trying to derail the thread either.

Saints FB Michael Burton being retested after receiving initial positive COVID-19 test result

The Saints are set to face the Lions at 1 PM ET on Sunday, but a recent development could jeopardize those plans.

Fullback Michael Burton received an initial positive COVID-19 test on Saturday and is being retested to confirm the diagnosis, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday night, per an informed source.

In addition, the team is also testing his close contacts, Rapoport added.

The news comes on a busy day for the NFL in regards to new, positive COVID-19 cases. Patriots quarterback Cam Newton and Chiefs practice squad QB Jordan Ta'amu both tested positive for COVID and were placed on the reserve/COVID list, resulting in Sunday's Patriots-Chiefs matchup being postponed until either Monday or Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, the Titans placed defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons on the reserve/COVID list after it was reported another player and two staff members tested positive, adding to the growing number of Tennessee players and personnel affected by the virus following the club's Week 3 game against the Vikings.

As of now, the Vikings have no positive cases and are set to face the Texans on Sunday as scheduled while the Titans' game versus the Steelers will now take place in Week 7.

No derail here, but, due to the long term unknown effects, it would not surprise me (down the road) if new Life Insurance policies are denied or extremely expensive for anyone who has tested positive. Just another reason to try and stay Covid free.
