That’s a good photo. Wendell Tyler trying to block Lyle Alzado, and Dennis Harrah leading the way for Guman.
Damn straight... lots of history in that pic!

Dude is/was soooo underrated for what he brought to the table. Every bit as good as Tom Rathman , who got tons of praise and glory
Always Loved Guman
This may be a little excessive but #71 standing on the Rams’ sidelines is Reggie Doss; and, if that is the #90 next to him, it may be Larry Brooks (one of my favorite Rams).Damn straight... lots of history in that pic!
I was not a huge fan of Mike Guman, however, I was in attendance on September 23rd of 1984 in Cincinnati Ohio when the Bengals had just scored a TD late in the 4th Quarter to cut the score to 17-14 with less then 2 minutes and tried an onside kick to the opposite side, Guman recovered and rumbled and I mean rumbled 43 yards for the TD....Nobody was on that side and Guman picked up the ball and ran the slowest 43 yards I ever saw, they almost caught him, but he just got in to the end zone to secure a 24-14 Ram victory giving this Ram fan his first game in attendance a victory.
Remember some of the fans saying "We can't even beat this team with Jeff Kemp at Quarterback." I put my arm around that person, who got very scared and whispered in his ear, "We could have gotten his old man Jack Kemp out retirement and still kicked your ass." But Guman, my God, so slow, but so smart and always in the right place.
And there's your sanity...or some semblance there of......
You had me at JW Blue....truly a gift from the heavens.I came home tonight and poured a glass of JWBlue. GEtting ready to put some steaks on the grille. I can't imagine anything better but apparently SoRam has got it!!!
On the subject of "Where does it go" (the Rams) I can only say this:
Over the last 3 years there are 3 teams with a better record than McVay's Rams. The Saints, and we know what their lot in life is......great regular seasons; last second defeats in the postseason. Perhaps karma from Bountygate? New England. Their lot in life has been prosperous since they entered SB36 "as a team" while our Rams were entering as individual stars encompassing a "dynasty being born tonight". But now that Brady and Gronk are in Florida, and BB failed to draft a QB, their lot doesn't seem so prosperous. But they deserve all the credit in the world for being the only dynasty in time when dynasties weren't supposed to prosper. Last, KC, the reigning Champions. Love Andy Reid. Love watching Mahomes but they're in the AFC and if they make it to the Superbowl and we have to beat them my money is on McVay & Co. So you go KC. Make the tomahawk chop (stolen from the Braves) and do what you have to to the AFC.
The Rams are at 33-15, #4 tied with Baltimore who's luster will disappear the first time Lamar Jackson grabs his ankle, are in a great place. They had experienced that proverbial SB hangover and came out a respectable 9-7, one lousy win short of the postseason. They have been dealt a taste of reality, which has to be a bitter taste in McVay's mouth. And they have eschewed all critics who said they should have gone OL early and often in the draft. They are renegades. Just the way I like it. Forget everything about football, they are going to put up some points and then punch your offense in the mouth with the likes of AD, Ramsey, Rapp, JJ, the new kid from Bama and Micah Kizer, who's waited a long two years to make his mark in the middle.
Okay, the JW Blue might taste great but it has caused me to ramble on. Guess I ought put on Zepplin and stop posting for the evening!
Cullen Bryant’s WHAT!?!
I have to know!!!
Didn't we all kind of know that So Ram was teetering on the edge of reality and that one day he might fall off?
I feel like you were trying to be nice here but there is literally no logical progression to your thoughts. Idk what to tell ya man. I love you as a fellow rams fan and if we ever met it would be all love but I’m just so confused by your demeanorThe reality is that I can’t copy & paste well & would have enough post for clarity. Enjoyed my early weekend & reality is also I’m lucky enough to have a job & just getting back to work.
I’ll add , I only wish everyone posting the BEST through one of the toughest years in my life & memory.
Waiting in line for gas & making sure you had the right license plate number back in the 70’s.So waiting another season for The Rams to get back to The SuperBowl instead of waiting another 20 years seems like it could become a reality as well.

I have literally no idea what I’m supposed to say here.In the spirit of this thread, I am calling out @den-the-coach, @CGI_Ram, and @-X-. Come at me, bros.
The Rams are going to win the Super Bowl the next fifteen years would work for me.
I wasn’t in attendance but I remember watching it on Live TV, he was not the fleetest afoot, i Don’t recall from my precise 35 year memory bank...him being seriously challenged prancing to the end zoneI was not a huge fan of Mike Guman, however, I was in attendance on September 23rd of 1984 in Cincinnati Ohio when the Bengals had just scored a TD late in the 4th Quarter to cut the score to 17-14 with less then 2 minutes and tried an onside kick to the opposite side, Guman recovered and rumbled and I mean rumbled 43 yards for the TD....Nobody was on that side and Guman picked up the ball and ran the slowest 43 yards I ever saw, they almost caught him, but he just got in to the end zone to secure a 24-14 Ram victory giving this Ram fan his first game in attendance a victory.
