Based on the eye test, for me at least, Burrow has more of 'it' than Herbert. If Herbert didn't have a mediocre coach and had a bit more star power like Burrow, no telling how good he could be though...

Yeah i can agree with that.

But Stafford exhibited a gunslinger ability and had helped the Lions come back to win some big games. STafford has some dog in him that I don't think Herbert has....

Justin Herbert played with broken ribs against KC last year. Damn near won it too. Matthew Stafford came back on 1 shoulder. Both are dogs.

Also since when in the hell do you talk like a gen z'er??

Hey! I am having a conversation with @blackbart here! Step Back!

Seriously, I was just focusing on the 'Wins are a Team Stat' comment, of which I agree.
My thought is ... While Quarterback is the Most Important Position on a team, it is NOT the Only Position

I agree with your Stafford / Dog comment. Don't have a strong opinion of Herbert just yet.
Agreed and since everyone could see the lack of coaching and innovation was the real problem in Detroit.

Stafford didn’t want to leave over the first decade he wanted them to build around him. However even with the picks they were getting, the FO did a poor job of building the roster.

I think Herbert will have a longer career, Burrows will have way more flash. They don’t wear the horns so they can kick rocks.

Herbert for me, both are great but I will take the guy that has done it with a much lesser cast of character. You can't deny Burrows's accomplishments as far as winning some bigger games but Herbert hasn't had the same level of support.

Easily Burrow. No offense meant to Herbert, but Burrow has lead a team to a Super Bowl and has all the attributes you dream about; accuracy (better than Herbert's), arm strength (not as much as Herbert, but still an ideal amount), processes the field (better than Herbert), and has led his team to a Super Bowl with a worse offensive line than Herbert.

They're both good, young quarterbacks and I'm glad they aren't in our division. Herbert is the better athlete. But I look at the two and I see something missing in Herbert's game. Burrow looks like the real deal as far as becoming an elite quarterback. I can't say he's there yet. But just something about him gives me a feeling he has that "It" factor. I'd take Burrow at this point.

Burrow by a landslide. Dude is a winner.

Herbert is a what he is. He will put up stats but not necessarily wins…much like Desean Watson.
