Justin Herbert has 14k yards 94 - 35 TD-INTs. In 3 years. Played w/ broken ribs. Both his starting WRs always hurt.

Pretty damn good.

Joe Burrow is Joe Burrow but he does benefit w/ Ja'Marr Chase. Who's way better than current version of Keenan Allen and Mike WIlliams.
Based on the eye test, for me at least, Burrow has more of 'it' than Herbert. If Herbert didn't have a mediocre coach and had a bit more star power like Burrow, no telling how good he could be though...

Burrow for sure. Though I think if McVay had Herbert we'd see some shit. In a good way.

IMO if he could choose I'd think McVay would take Herbert because he's a gunslinger like a young Stafford. That is why IMO he's a better fit for McVay's offense. Also, the Bengals aren't stupid enough to trade Burrow. Spanos is greedy enough to trade Herbert. After this year Dean has to pay for that talent. In his mind if he has multiple ones to play with he can draft another QB1 which is the mentality that has always kept the Chargers looking good but not good enough. Spanos is interested in money and every dollar spent on a player is one less dollar in his pocket. He was that way in SD and IMO he hasn't changed. Now with that lawsuit still behind him, he has every incentive to trade Herbert next year. Also, IMO Kroenke has leverage.

Burrow is a fricking tool. Cant stand that guy. Herbert at least seems to have a little class.

Ill take our Super Bowl Winning QB over either.....

I can’t stand some players for their entitlement or their arrogance. For different reason Rodgers and Brady were/are/will forever be tools but they that didn’t get in the way of their success. Their legacy is tarnished but either would have been a great add to any team.

Both are excellent young talent. Burrow has had better talent around him and a more offensive minded head coach.

Burrow seems to be beaten up. Herbert has a nicer deep ball to me.

Wins and loses is a team stay not a QB stat so I don’t hold to the he’s won mantra.

We are unlikely to see either in horns, for fantasy I’d take Burrow first because he has a better supporting cast.

That (lack of team success) was a criticism of Stafford when the Rams made the trade.
But Stafford exhibited a gunslinger ability and had helped the Lions come back to win some big games. STafford has some dog in him that I don't think Herbert has....

Hey! I am having a conversation with @blackbart here! Step Back!

Seriously, I was just focusing on the 'Wins are a Team Stat' comment, of which I agree.
My thought is ... While Quarterback is the Most Important Position on a team, it is NOT the Only Position

I agree with your Stafford / Dog comment. Don't have a strong opinion of Herbert just yet.

Interesting question. As a Duck fan I watched Herbert melt in a few (early in his career) high profile college games, but he was quite young and still learning. I do think he gets the yips in really big games. IMO he just thinks a bit too much (instead of just reacting) and that’s his problem. He gets in his head. If Herbert can learn to fix that, I think he could do well, win playoff games. He just needs to win that first playoff game. With time he should be better.

Burrow has a better team and a familiar LSU receiver that creates a comfort zone for him. That’s some of the difference.

I would take Herbert because he will figure things out and his play will only get better. I think Burrow is already playing next to his ceiling.

Herbert for me.

He has every incentive to trade a top 5 QB?
