I believe the Ravens can beat whoever comes out of the NFC. As much as my newfound hatred for the Lions exists, I hate the Niners 10 times as much. The Lions are last hope to stop the Niners now. I'll be rooting for the Ravens in the Super Bowl.

Besides which, I just bet a ton on the Lions to stay ahead of @Corbin!
are you just making the same bets as he is just to stay in front? lol

Suddenly seems en vogue to receive as opposed to defer after winning the coin toss

I’m a sore loser but I’ll be pulling for Detroit to win. I still like Goff and think they have the best chance to beat the 69ers next week. But I’ll be watching the Detroit closely.

Facemask... I guess if ya slow down the replay enough, it looks like he held the mask for 20 seconds...
Meanwhile - is that you, NY, on the phone????

I always thought this was how it was since watching as a kid. Then out of nowhere I started seeing teams defer. Not sure when the changed occurred...

—Edit

AI says:

According to the web search results, NFL teams started deferring after the coin toss in 2008. Before that, teams that won the coin toss could only choose to receive or kick the opening kickoff, and they usually chose to receive.

.

Goff looking shaky. Doesn't look like he's gonna have a good game. Could be problematic for the Lions.

How did we lose to this team??? We could be playing in the conference championship next week against the Whiners.

Goff looked a lot better in that drive.

How come Josh Reynolds never looked this good for the Rams?

I was on the fence with this one. Usually go for the Lions. That fan base has suffered for a lot of years. But all this revenge game for Goff talk kinda turned me off. But now that I'm watching the game I find myself wanting the Lions to win. Maybe its because I don't think Tampa stands a snowball's chance in hell against the whiners?

Like Purdy a couple times last night, Goff got away with one when the defender dropped a sure INT. Sometimes the football gods are with a team. Those two drops looked like they woulda been pick sixes. Purdy was extremely lucky. Maybe he won't be so lucky next week.
