Hey amigo
If you actually recorded the game please do your self a favor and observe on the first drive of the game the dirty hits the Rams (#97) delivered followed up by the cowardly DB spearing LaPortas knee in the RZ
...
I just re-watched the Lions' first drive and focused on Michael Hoecht (#97); and did not see a single questionable hit.
Could you be more specific on the plays that you see 'dirty hits'?
Thanks in advance.
Regarding the hit on LaPorta in the Red-Zone. After catching the ball, LaPorta tucked it away and picked up a few yards down the left sideline. Cobie Durant came over and went low to tackle and push LaPorta out of bounds. There was very little contact as LaPorta had gotten as much yardage as he could get..
Although Durant went low, I don't see that as either dirty or comparable to the Kerby Joseph hit on Higbee.
But for the non-holding call on Nacua; and the non-PI call on Robinson on the first drive of the second-half (both terrible non-calls in my opinion), I don't agree with the narrative that the Rams were robbed; and attribute the loss to 3 FGs on 3 RZ possessions for the Rams vs. 3 TDs on 3 RZ possessions for Detroit.
