Well, being in the Air Force stationed in Dayton (Wright-Patterson) and a UD Grad (1990) made my way up to Columbus (that's why I'm a Buckeye Fan) as well as spending time in Cleveland back then and many other times over the years to visit friends & colleagues.
The Flats, plus Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. the Museum of Art, the Cleveland Arcade and the House of Blues plus taking in a game at the Jake was an awesome time. We usually stay at the Renaissance, but obviously when were younger any place we could hang our wings...Been a few years, but maybe the Mrs. & I need to make are way back with the youngest now in college.
OMG The Arcade is beautiful!!! A secret outside of those of us who lived in CLE. It's spectacular.
The Art Museum is one of the finest in the world, most people don't know that. I was a kid when one of Rodan's The Thinker was damaged by some idiots setting a pipe bomb there. I've been in that place countless times. Same with the flats.
I have mentioned that I was a charter member of the rock hall.
Next time you go to CLE let me know..........I have a few tips hehe. I moved away 7 years ago but I'm still a Clevelander.
