But, flv, that wasn't an option.
$5M wasn't an option. And Denver WAS sniffing around before the Rams traded up which meant the Rams would have been without a starter for the 63rd pick? That's an option?

I know some folks think very little of Keenum, but that's not the point. All that mattered was what Denver thought and several reports corroborate that Denver would have come after Keenum. That's not up for debate.

Until Snisher works out the QB situation, they can't deal the starter. Now, after they pick, who knows? But that's after the Draft starts.

This whole thing feels like a Gordian Knot...

I'd trade him for the right price, but I have a LOT of confidence we can win games if he has to start early for our rookie or has to spell him for injury.

I am a Keenum fan.
Agree - but what's his price? A 4th? 5th?

He'd br a good bridge as well whilst the rookie gets up to speed, learns the offense, gets timing and chemistry with the receivers and slowly adapts to speed and complexity of the NFL?

Yeah, well, I just signed Leonardo DiCaprio, so your whole argument is invalid.
