Apparently Brockers didn't want to adjust his contract. The trade clears $5.6M of Cap unless Detroit agreed to take on the dead Cap. That would mean we get little in return.

I'd like to bring Fox back as well if we can...but SJD played well last year, and if Robinson comes back at full strength we have a solid D-line.

and I know they like Eric Banks as well....

Yeah, I feel it. Nothing but love for Brockers, but he just was the easiest to trade based on the D-line depth and his contract. Trade like this wouldn't have happened if we didn't have A. Robinson on the team.
