Naw.
No hot seat.
How many players do the Rams have that you would rate as “excellent”?
I would rate Woods, Kupp, Whitworth, Donald, Ramsey, Hekker and maybe a S.
It’s a solid/good roster it’s not crazy loaded.
McVay needs to be the long term guy unless their is a total implosion.

so comical we go from not having a winning season for 15 years to a guy might make the playoffs 3 out of 4 years but he should be on the hotseat.

/facepalm

If we miss the playoffs two years in a row with this roster (and generally staying healthy, until this past week!), I hope that McVay is on the hot seat for the 2021-22 season.

No, just fuck that.

McVay will have to put together multiple, consecutive losing seasons and general organizational cluster-fuckery before I would want him replaced. We have four winning seasons in a row, and while I am disappointed with some things he has done this year (e.g., not having the team ready for the 0-13 Jets), much of the shitshow of 2020 is not his fault. All of the Covid crap is something way out of his control, the fact that our RB's keep getting hurt is out of his control, the fact that Cooks kept getting his bell rung is out his control, the fact that Gurley's knee shit the bed is out of his control ... etc. etc. etc.

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year. We will finish no worse than 9-7, possibly 10-6, and can make the playoffs if we win or Da Bearssssssss lose. Talking about replacing McVay now is more premature than this:

Brockers has been playing at an extremely high level. This is a huge loss.
Yeah it's a tough hit for us. Brock is also a leader. Gonna miss him on defense similar to how the offense misses Whit, for more than just his production.

I'm at the point where I am genuinely interested in what this team is made of. Are they gonna quit and end the season quietly? Or are they gonna fucking beast and smoke some bird ass. This game is going to be fun to watch unfold.

Could be the last game of the season so I'm going all out, gonna make a couple pizzas and a badass salad, smoke some weed drink some beer and fucking enjoy myself. Hope everything works out for us but if not I'm still proud of my team. (y)

Triple/ facepalm

When and if the Rams begin to consistently display a lack of competitiveness, no fire, a lack of discipline and most importantly a lack of WINS i'd sit McV down for a chat. As of right now that place may as well be on the planet Neptune it's so far away.
Thank You Mojo for articulating my sentiment.
I personally had no words. Too busy SMH.

Yeah.
Particularly when you look at the history of this franchise and the league.
The one thing that ensures futility over stretches of time is regular turnover with coaches.
A new coach every 2-3 years is the one thing that nearly guarantees failure over time.

Rams aren’t the only ones getting hit by the Covid bug. Maybe NFL should cancel week 17 isolate and let everyone clear up and hit the playoffs.

yeah im worried there will be more.. this has been hitting a lot of teams this week.
Players are getting lazy.

I know some people hated me for saying this but just infect everyone before the season. They're all eventually gonna get it anyway. One way or another. At least they're prepped for it and then they can have a full season and not have any of this bs going on. I know shoot me

Brockers was, Imo the first piece of the improved Rams.
After the end of the GSOT and the decade that followed, a series of rebuilds yielded virtually nothing. Our draft picks were almost always disappointing.
Brockers was the first piece in the turnaround.

If you watched Mcvays presser yesterday you knew this was coming.

He indicated other were being looked at but couldn’t give specifics because of HIPPA, even though Gary kept pushing Mcvay.

Mcvay said “you will find out Tomorrow”.

I believe there are other Rams players that are being monitored closely so hopefully this is the worst of it. We can win with Gaines, Fox and Robinson.

Gonna come down to Wolford and the rest of the starters.

Gary is annoying as shit, and that exchange was a good example. Props to McVay for not being bugged by him at these pressers, or at least just joking around with him to cover it up.

Brockers has been playing really well, probably his best season.

Other guys gonna have to step up.

Hate Brockers is out, but still Donald, Robinson and SJD is a front I don't think anyone wants to see. All is not lost.

Anyone who wants McVay on hot seat needs to revisit each season from 90-98 and 2005-2014. Part of the reason we have talent are the decisions of McSnead and not the prior shitshows. Only Spanos makes dipshit decisions like that (Fires Schottenheimer at 14-2 and it worked out just like brain surgery with a pipe wrench).

I wonder which of the 4 practice squad DLineman get activated.

The one who looks a lot like J.J. Watt in a fake mustache. I think we just added him to the practice squad. His name seems to be Ray Ray Lott.
