By that logic every single player on the roster is more valuable than the coach...they're the ones playing. Give Jeff Fisher Derek Carr. System matters. Continuity matters. Innovation within the coaching matters. Most of the people drafted into the NFL are supremely talented what happens next a lot of times is on the coach/gm. How many great qbs were battered to a pulp and sucked?The QB is always more valuable then the coach. They’re the one playing. A coach can only effect so much. But if you don’t at least have a decent QB, you don’t stand a chance. Give Belichick someone like Derek Carr and they’re probably 5-2.
And I don't think anyone here is saying you don't need at least a decent qb to win in the nfl or that tom brady isn't a decent qb so I don't understand that point.
