Full disclosure Barry and I went to school together. I played ball with his little brother and Barry was always kind to me. We knew his family growing up. The son of a major league. Ball player is always difficult. He didn’t know he handled it well but very is a sincere person And a very giving person. maybe strongly opinionated ones on this board have no idea about.

Albert Pulhols couldn’t hold Bonds jock. From age 15 on Bonds was the greatest athlete I ever saw. Football basketball and baseball. His dad made him drop one sport senior year so he dropped Football. But I believe he could have gone pro as a receiver. He was a natural.

And say what you will, but he respects the game and he respects others.

Maybe some guys in glass houses shouldn’t come so strong with their judgements.
It's called public perception.

Bonds may have been a great guy outside baseball but he carried himself off as a dick in the public's eye.

Kershaw Freeman Betts Pujols all carry themselves as really good guys in the publics eye but for all I know they are dicks outside baseball

I really like how Payton Manning carry's himself in the publics eye.

Tom Brady, on the other hand, was a whiny bitch who always complained to the refs whenever he got hit. I was so glad he got penalized for complaining to the ref when his lip was bleeding. He finally got his comeuppance.

From what I hear, he might be a good guy outside football. But I will always hate his whiny bitchiness.

Plus he wears Uggs.

He was also an arrogant fuckstick who couldn’t deal with not having attention. He didn’t need to do the cream and the clear to be a HOFer. Griffey Jr. was clean and beloved. Albert Pujols was clean and beloved, even though he was never a media guy, much like Bonds.

Bonds was an arrogant, greedy attention whore.
Clean?
In that era?
Maybe....possible but not likely.
A lot of steroid use in baseball was not to get big like Bonds and McGuire, but, for a lot of guys it would be for recovery.
You'd also have to mess up pretty badly to get caught.
A lot of guys were using in that era.
