Team trainers do, but sometimes they use their own guys and don’t always vet their stuff. It’s not smart and they should make sure it’s approved, but it happens.I can see that if the ingredient list is typical of a grocery store item - well, you'd go blind just trying to read it all...
OTOH... would one not expect the team/trainers to provide access to optional and approved supplements? Or at least a means (like, contract it out) to acquire safe substances?
This all seems sketchy to me... but then again, one glance this way, and you can see, that the typical NFL specimen if drastically different than this one....
I haven’t read deep enough into the post. I’m guessing you have ? If so(ram) then the above is just answering about PED’s. I’m guessing as well as The Rams(Mcvay) likes to keep things in house (Demoff?Artie) & Reggie Scott does an excellent job with the players.Still nothing detailing what the positive test was. Nothing out of Brown or the Rams that I found.
Seems they’d be happy just to let it go away quietly.
I'd like to hear a player own up to juicing one of these days. Just be like "yeah I went for it." There's always a ridiculous story attached to these things it seems. Has to be some guys out there who fucked up by deciding to take the drugs.Seems they’d be happy just to let it go away quietly.
Sort of like what DeAndre Hopkins is doing.I'd like to hear a player own up to juicing one of these days. Just be like "yeah I went for it." There's always a ridiculous story attached to these things it seems. Has to be some guys out there who fucked up by deciding to take the drugs.
What even is the PED policy anymore? Is six games the first offense punishment? Not really worried about it unless this is a multiple time problem.

Okay so he took a PED and then tried to hide it.It looks like he's a first-time offender based on the punishment:
"Most violations of the PED policy come from urine samples during both scheduled and random testing. A first violation of the policy can warrant up to a six-game suspension without pay (the average is usually four games). The use of a masking agent is a two-game suspension. The use of steroids, stimulants, or HGH is a four-game suspension. Any attempt to manipulate a test is six games. A second violation is 10 games and a third violation can be a season-long suspension, sometimes two."

The story linked earlier is he took something that contained an additive that masks steroid use. The thing he took didn't list that in the ingredients and it's caused a few problems so far.Okay so he took a PED and then tried to hide it.
