Still nothing detailing what the positive test was. Nothing out of Brown or the Rams that I found.

Seems they’d be happy just to let it go away quietly.

I can see that if the ingredient list is typical of a grocery store item - well, you'd go blind just trying to read it all...

OTOH... would one not expect the team/trainers to provide access to optional and approved supplements? Or at least a means (like, contract it out) to acquire safe substances?

This all seems sketchy to me... but then again, one glance this way, and you can see, that the typical NFL specimen if drastically different than this one.... :wow2:
Team trainers do, but sometimes they use their own guys and don’t always vet their stuff. It’s not smart and they should make sure it’s approved, but it happens.

I haven’t read deep enough into the post. I’m guessing you have ? If so(ram) then the above is just answering about PED’s. I’m guessing as well as The Rams(Mcvay) likes to keep things in house (Demoff?Artie) & Reggie Scott does an excellent job with the players.

—Bobby Brown did what Bobby Brown has done. He is a young 21 year old man. So he will learn from it & adversity can be a persons best friend.

-Last off season at SOFI The Rams invited fans of n for free for the first SOFI experience & a OTA final practice of 2021.Was a cool way for Ram Fans(season ticket holders) to see The Rams start to finish from NOW.

The Rams a SuperBowl Champion 2021-22. So here we are. The start of 2022 & OTA’s just finishing up.

Bobby Brown at OTA’s last season looked real good coming off the ball.It was cool to get that pre practice view.Different from training camp.
I like to view players & see what players stick out right away from the others. This practice was laid back & more for The Fans. The Veterans had the practice off.
The cool thing was the introduction of it all. Had & saw Stan get live from Mcvay, Whitworth & was the first time Matthew Stafford was The Man running The Show.
You can call it Showtime & or The Greatest Show it’s ALL LA NOW. HOLLYWOOD BABY!!

A Kids Dream, but Bobby Brown stuck out to me getting off the ball & power. He was young & motivated..
Coach Henderson had HIS GROUP working hard.
These guys just don’t show up & make the squad. Henderson is The BEST position coach The Rams have bare-nine. AD99 had a slide of Henderson up on his wall for motivation. This thing was bigger than LIFE.
AD99 knows nothing is given to him. He works hard. AD99 wasn’t at the OTA’s he needs his time away & he knows what that is. Family means a lot to him & he is a Loyal Man.

My point is solely that Henderson has this. The Rams have this.Mcvay is building a team & it’s BUILT as WE not ME.I remember the first Glance into Mcvay’s meetings of his John Wooden pyramid to be successful as a TEAM.

The Rams build things the right way from Top to Bottom. The Rams sign players because of that. OBJ being an example. Weedle coming out of retirement the other. Building relationships around the league as well.
The Rams have a nice group of UDRFA Henderson has been building with the last 3 seasons. Greg Gaines & A. Robinson are examples of The hard work this group out in in 2021.
Then Copeland,Hoecht,& Williams are players that are among the group that are continuing to put the time in.
Hoecht in trading camp last season showed leadership skills working after practice with Max & that backup center guard who got cut.
J. Williams just keeps his hands down, head down & ready for that next snap. He’s is like a machine, but that is how Henderson works these guys. To get off the ball quickly. They work those machines routinely.

There is a reason as well for this post & where I’ve posted it.

It’s an article like this that always gets me a little fired up knowing The Rams, especially Now!!

I understand it & think it’s cool in one sense, but I find it a little disrespectful for those players coming up. There is a lot there just in that statement as well.

Going to add this one as well just because Johan Williams was my dark horse last season In training camp to make The Rams roster. It’s sort of my Mr. Irrelevant Ram to make The roster. That is why in away is my favorite Ram.

I'd like to hear a player own up to juicing one of these days. Just be like "yeah I went for it." There's always a ridiculous story attached to these things it seems. Has to be some guys out there who fucked up by deciding to take the drugs.

Sort of like what DeAndre Hopkins is doing.

What even is the PED policy anymore? Is six games the first offense punishment? Not really worried about it unless this is a multiple time problem.

It looks like he's a first-time offender based on the punishment:

"Most violations of the PED policy come from urine samples during both scheduled and random testing. A first violation of the policy can warrant up to a six-game suspension without pay (the average is usually four games). The use of a masking agent is a two-game suspension. The use of steroids, stimulants, or HGH is a four-game suspension. Any attempt to manipulate a test is six games. A second violation is 10 games and a third violation can be a season-long suspension, sometimes two."

These guys know exactly what they're doing. It's always a risk vs. reward decision. It's hard to blame them for it when there are literally millions of dollars on the line.

Okay so he took a PED and then tried to hide it.

The story linked earlier is he took something that contained an additive that masks steroid use. The thing he took didn't list that in the ingredients and it's caused a few problems so far.

Thanks for all the insight.... As a retired IT guy, we only pee'd in the cup on being hired, and very few other random times (for me, once in 20 years) - but only checking for THC.... Which wasn't a popular test in Oregon! ‍ Caused quite a few to hit the road... I mean, there are other employers in town!

If he wants to take PED's it should be his prerogative
