Corum is faster. KW is not fast. His strengths as a runner are vision, acceleration, and a low center of gravity. But he lacks a second gear. At the combine, Kyren ran a 4.65 40. Corum ran a 4.53 40.
That's right. I got it mixed up. I remember looking that up when someone stated that Kyren was faster. I'm pretty sure I quoted the same numbers as you. I think it may even be near the beginning of this thread.

.

Anybody who watched him get caught from behind in the playoff game against the Eagles would know he is the opposite of fast.

A sure td turned into 3 points. Back breaking.

Love to see it. I've been a Corum booster all along. Better RB than Williams, IMO, until Williams can fix the fumble issues. Jury is still out on that one. Corum has more burst and can score from distance + break off a game changing carry if he doesn't score. In 1 season he has more long runs than Williams' entire career, I suspect, and I am not joking. Williams has more wiggle and better cuts in the backfield when met immediately, and is a better receiver too, but all that is not enough of an edge to make up for his ball security. He has been clean with the football lately, but his fumbles always come at the worst, most back breaking times, so let's see what this stretch runs and playoffs have in store. Again, the jury is out. I do like both RBs. But only 1 do I like at their contract price.

Corum's hands do scare me. Still untested as a receiver. We need to see it. So far, beyond brick hands. If you can't catch, you can't play. See: Philip Lindsay, who started strong too.
Just curious here. KW has not fumbled since week five against SF. That’s approximately 115 carries and only has two on the year in 196 attempts. What does he have to do for fans to “forgive” him for that?

I know the timing of those two were but it may be time to let go of the fumbling narrative. It seems to me, at least, that he may have already put that behind him.

Well that was a tough fumble.... Corrums fumble on the 20 yard line hurt as well that game.

I think Corum is going to be trade bait so the Rams can move up in the draft.... He has trade value and there is no way he will be the #1 RB while Williams is in a Rams uniform, plus Williams is better than Corrum.

Are you a Ohio State fan? You've done nothing but put down Corum in this thread or atleast the last few posts

No to Buckeyes

I don't dislike Corum, but he's not as good as Williams, and if Williams stays healthy we will end up losing Corum because he isn't going to want to be #2. I'm sure his agent is already telling him you're sharing half the duties with Williams, so you should get paid comparable to Williams.

RB's have a very small window to get big contracts, since the average career for a NFL RB is 3-4 years.

To save possible locker room drama in the future it could a good way the Rams to get something valuable for Corum.... maybe move up in the draft next year.

Kyren never had a fumbing issue statistically. Timing maybe, but there's usually never a good time.

We can have 2 good running backs at the same time. What some said this off season was, "can't run KW into the ground, Corum needs more touches". That doesn't mean he needs the same number of touches as KW. Just a closer distribution.

Over the last 6 games the Rams are AVERAGING 147.8 yards per game, 5.2 ypa. That includes kneel downs, so those numbers are skewed a bit. Individually?
Kyren over the last 6 games....
89 att; 480 yards; 5.4 att; 6 TD
Corum over the last 6 games....
60 att; 357 yards; 6.0 att; 3 TD

A 3-2 ratio (KW to Corum) has been super productive over the last 6 games.
149 att; 837 yards; 5.6 avg; 9 TD
That is freaking awesome!!!!

As far as this drivel.....
"Corum is being told by his agent he should be making the same money as KW?"
That's bullshit at it's finest. Not from an Ohio St. fan but from a conflict fan.

What is BS is thinking an agent is not for the best interest for his clients.

The Rams have bills to pay this off season, especially if we win the Super Bowl.

Stafford is gonna command $$$$.
Nacua will be able to renegotiate his shit rookie deal. $$$$$.
Adam's is gonna be asking for $$$$
Lake is gonna be asking $$$$.
Verse is gonna be asking for $$$$.
Young is gonna be asking for $$$$.

We won't be able to afford Corum and its best to get something very valuable in the draft for him while teams think he's good and healthy.

If it's true, the agent should be fired, because players on rookie deals cant renegotiate until after their 3rd season.
Which incidentally is when Kyren's salary is no longer guaranteed and has no dead cap

I read that 3 posts above mine.

"I'm sure his agent is already telling him you're sharing half the duties with Williams, so you should get paid comparable to Williams."
That poster was only speculating; and he's a little Goofy with his takes.

2nd-year players have almost no leverage.
