This whole list is insane but the $8 million for Antonio Pierce is mind blowing. I remember them talking last year about what they had to pay before Petey got hired and I thought for sure they'd try and hit on a young up and comer that they wouldn't have to pay premium dollar for and then they went and got Petey anyway. Mark Davis paying for his mistakes in spades.

Meanwhile down in Miami, Has anyone seen Mike McDaniel?

I disagree:

Considering what Shula has to work with (especially the secondary) he's done a good job. Not to mention dealing with the offense when it decides to go into 3-and-out / punt mode, it put tons of pressure on a defense. Sometimes your defense is only good as your offense.
I have to disagree. I believe a large part of the issues with defense are Shula. Not a very good coach IMO.

I know I was out the day they talked about how "Life isn't Fair," at school but...what in the literal fuck!?

What kind of lottery do you have to win to get a deal like that!?
All you gotta do is just buy the ticket: working for free your first year, 18k for 2-3 years, apprenticeship for 4-10 years (in a new city every 2-3 years - you really only start making 6 figures in the last 1/3 of that time), 100 hr weeks (most likely 16 hour days) during all that time, sleep in office half the week, unimaginable stress, 70% chance broken family and children with major behavioral issues.

Oh, and you still may not get that job in the end.

I'd rather buy an HVAC company.
