Unfortunately, after year 2, you're not really seeing anything from him that would let you believe he's capable of developing more.

Still, prob need one more year to be sure.

I agree, but I also think there’s such a rush these days.

Remember Robert Woods signing and how people were pissed we overpaid?

Year one with the rams he hits career highs, then has two back to back 1200 yard seasons. Sometimes it just takes a bit for some of these guys to have the game slow down. I wasn’t really a fan of him in the first, but a lot of people had him mocked that way for a reason. Coleman is still younger than some people that will be drafted this year. He’s a kid. Maybe coaching changes his production, maybe a change of scenery will, or maybe he doesn’t make the jump…don’t know…but I’m just not a fan of writing a guy off after two seasons

I just remember that people mentioning that he couldn't get a decent OC to interview for the job.

That he was stuck with OC's like Boras
That's fine. I guess that could be true, but I just don't remember or recall any OC's that were on Jeff Fisher's list besides internal.

The Eagles wanted Daboll, McDaniel, Zac Robinson and others. I gotta believe they're gonna get somebody decent but the big names seems to be "no thanks". Because of the Hurts rumors? Because Siriani is an asshole? Because they don't want to get thrown under the bus by Siriani in year 2, should things not pan out with Hurts and without AJ Brown? We're talking about a team who won the Superbowl in 2024!!!! I gotta admit, I love seeing Philly getting this treatment.
All of the above I'm sure. Philly is kind of a shit job for an OC... Got a dick for a boss, a RB pretending to be a QB, a diva WR, and (most importantly) you have to deal with Philly fans who will egg your house and god knows what else. I'd consider that job to be one of the most undesirable right now for a coach who had choices.

It's a mess, 4 OC in the last 4 seasons.
Its been either they get a HC job or they get fired
2022 Steichen- HC
2023 Brian Johnson- Fired
2024 Kellen Moore- HC
2025 Kevin Patullo- Fired

The Bills are on the ragged edge of a death spiral
They better be very careful with their Staff, Free agency and the draft or you could see things get very ugly.
They really are the organization that has sat on a great player and ridden him to playoff losses. There are worst places to be, like where we were in the 90s. But this is why I say I have a strong dislike for that owner. I don't know the dude of course but he strikes me as an irritating and despicable fuck to work for.

McDaniels would have been a key hire for them. I'm guessing he didn't like the QB or the head coach.

I don't think Puka would have been the same football player without the likes of Kupp, Stafford, and McVay. I still think he would be good but who exactly on Baltimore would have given him that kind of schooling and support?

Just not there. Could you imagine playing for a team when you know that is how they talk about you? You have to wonder if this is the first time they have let him know he wasn't wanted. That is plain shitty.

Agreed, Puka would not be whom he is without Kupp.

A head case? Immature? Based on what?
He's missed team meetings, and has been healthy scratched and benched for that. Some teammates have told him to "grow up" (Dion Dawkins), while others have said that he's still quite young (Tyrell Shavers) and that's a product of his youth.

I'm not saying he's going to be a perfect solution for our receiving corps (and I'd still take a receiver with our first or second), but Buffalo's management has been just as shitty with their football team as their hockey team, and when he's had those chances, he's produced. For a fifth-round pick, learning from other receivers like Adams and vets like Stafford, I'm willing to take that chance, and it has to be better than spending ten million on Tutu for what he's produced.

Scheelchase reportedly had "impressive" interview with Steelers. Reportedly appears to have "shot to top of the list".

2nd interview to likley take place next week.

Could have that extra 3rd rd pick coming.

Gotcha. I hadn’t heard any of that. I’d definitely get him in the building learning from our leadership. I still think the kid has potential. Agreed on the tutu thing, but I’m certainly frustrated with his lack of usage. Tutu does a lot of what you want, but McVay just refuses to use him. I think McVay loves bigger guys at WR and smaller guys at RB, so I don’t see why we resigned him. Let him go salvage his career and show he’s capable. Then spend our money elsewhere
