Sad for Jaguar fans, but my hope is that they hire Robert Saleh, who I think would be a good hire and even better would keep him away from San Francisco.
I respect Saleh's history of work, and agree that his time with the Jets isn't really indicative of anything. Also I'd imagine he's got a better chance of standing up in front of a room of men and leading them than Coen, who I suspect is better served getting more seasoning as an OC.

Baalke is reportedly a petty SOB. Though maybe that was partially Harbaugh idk. But he has at least tasted winning as a GM. Thing is if I'm the owner and I get to the quarter pole of the season and my GM is bickering with my head coach I'd fire his ass due to that history. So to me the history matters in that respect. This is undoubtedly Baalke's last shot as GM however, if he fails. So if he opts for Saleh he's going to need to support him and build a winner.

Anyway I'd like to see Saleh in Jax. QB is in place and knows the offense. Finding a WCO disciple is not hard in today's league. So add the pieces you need on offense then get that defense going so the QB gets the ball back a lot and wins will come.

With Coen.. it's starting to become a clearer pattern... highly regarded OC guys looking for an HC gig are less and less afraid to say no to a job if it feels like the wrong fit.

I think with NFL HC jobs turning over at a higher rate than ever, they know they'll get another shot.

this, along with the fact that his first HC gig would be with a shit owner would put a stain on his career

So dysfunctional. I'd rather have Stan in L.A. than Khan's Clowns in St. Louis, I'll say that much.

Don’t think KEVIN DEMOFF hasn’t played a role all across the Rams in both places. LA made it easier for The Rams. Not sure what would have happened if St.Louis negotiated with Stan before the stadium deal’s contracted wasn’t met.
