So instead, they paid him for a season, still have to pay out his contract, and will have to pay an incoming coach.
Brilliant!!
I'm guessing this is some major sarcasm here.....right?The Patriot way works so well outside of the cheating duo.
I'm hearing he had a 3 year deal averaging about 3.5 mil perSo instead, they paid him for a season, still have to pay out his contract, and will have to pay an incoming coach.

Point was that the idea of having to pay a buyout is what prevented them from pivoting from Mayo is ridiculous. They paid it anywayI'm hearing he had a 3 year deal averaging about 3.5 mil per
Vrabel at 17 mill

Alas, not hearing any complaints from the Mayo camp so it sounds like maybe it was a bit mutual
What he should do is have a couple "administrative assistants" he pays well to take care of things. Pay their bonuses in cash, under the table, for their "favors."Kraft saved 17 mill .. more happy endings
The Bears are a shyte show.Bears seek to interview Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman for head coach job: report

Freeman is not going to leave IMHO, but it’s worth a call because Freeman is special.Bears seek to interview Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman for head coach job: report

I think special is a bit much. Would you expect him to go to the Bears and have the type of impact that McVay instantly had with the Rams?Freeman is not going to leave IMHO, but it’s worth a call because Freeman is special.
I would, but I sure hope he loses on the 20th.I think special is a bit much. Would you expect him to go to the Bears and have the type of impact that McVay instantly had with the Rams?
I know I wouldn’t.
I wouldn't expect the X's and O's to change anywhere near as much as the culture. But that's what Chicago needs.I think special is a bit much. Would you expect him to go to the Bears and have the type of impact that McVay instantly had with the Rams?
I know I wouldn’t.
In the end I really believe this is where Ben Johnson ends up. IMO, from a talent standpoint I believe Johnson wants this job and the fans want Johnson. Obviously other things have to play out, but I strongly believe when the dust settles, Johnson will be their next Head Coach with a former Head Coach as his DC.Bears IMO should be focusing on one of the offensive minded candidates and get their guy. If they waste time on Freeman they risk losing out on a guy they can get that will help them. And then we're back to them ruining another QB as they miss on guys in the NFL and Freeman turns them down.
I think you have totally nailed it. This is the scenario that I see happening. In the end I really believe this is where Ben Johnson ends up.
