I finally got around to watching Dopesick.
Wow. Utterly brilliant.
I like the way that, whereas the entire Sackler family looked bad, they didn't treat them as being evil, just sadly misguided. If what we saw was true, I think they really thought they were helping.
Michael Keaton was his usual excellent self, but honestly, I thought Michael Stuhlbarg, playing Richard Sackler, was even better.
There wasn't a dud performance in the entire thing.
My only slight gripe was the frequency of flipping back and forth between the years. Probably a tad too much.
It's truly horrific how much power Big Pharma had and almost certainly still has. It's truly shocking and appalling in a country like the US.
