I'm hearing a lot of this in discussion of the top teams this year. I've been guilty myself.

The offenses around the league are so good right now, that it is making some quality defenses look pedestrian and quite average at best.

My point is that Green Bay is an elite NFC team right now because they're scoring at will with a D that's just good enough to get some key stops. So is Seattle. The Rams, Bucs might be in that class too.

Their D is their weakness. Currently, 353 yards per game, That in a normal year would put them between 20-26 on defense yards given up. IT will come back and Bite them. Now, during the season I think that will come down. As will the points per game for every team. right now it around 25.4 ppg. That's about 4 points above the normal. I think the lack of pre-season has really hurt defenses this year.

How Robert Saleh isn't already a HC, I dunno. If he could find an OC to take with him, he's a prime candidate for sure.
I'm sure he will get a job this cycle. However for a team that's paying a franchise QB they need IMO somebody to come in and install an offense to take advantage of Watson. That's why I suggest him and another name that makes a lot of sense like Jrry pointed out is Lincoln Riley.

I agree that Eric Bienemy would be the choice.

But also I want Robert Saleh out of the division and preferably the conference quite badly. He's a damn good defensive coach and has given us fits.

Ah, keep thinking that. They look good now. But it won't last. But, that being said, I hope they keep scoring high in games and set the new record for most points in a season. See, no team that set the record for most points in season has ever won the super bowl.

Lol, I knew this type of response was coming. 4-0 is 4-0. Good is good.

Rams 3-1, leaky defense. Coulda woulda shoulda be 4-0, too. Doesn't matter. Good is good.

4-0 is good for now. But I'm telling you, it won't last. Remember 5-8 plays makes the difference in most NFL games between winning and losing. They will have their first loss this weekend in Tampa.

Jacksonville is the perfect destination for Saleh.

I’m really surprised that Adam Gase isn’t the first one ! him or Dan Quinn will be the next one if their teams keep losing.

So what? Every team is going to lose at some point. So when they become 4-1 or 5-2 they suddenly won't be? I really would like to know what your parameters are of being "good" is.

BTW the Packers are on bye this week.

That's a tough break for a team playing as well as anyone.

Means that as the season drags on...no travel breaks, no weeks to get healthy... rough break.

4-0, 5-1. It' all relative to who you play and when you play them.
