Ezeiruaku and Revel are somehow still available. If one of them were the pick at #46, I’d cheer out loud; I’d have been fine with them at #26.

Wow I didn't realize that the trade leaked prior. That makes me believe that you're right, it was agreed to already.
Sounded pretty clear here in the NY area before the draft that the Giants were going to trade back for Dart. And they all seem pretty convinced that they needed to get in front of the Rams to do it.
But they know just as much as us.

Them trading in front of Rams is at least some circumstantial evidence of Rams maybe wanting him.

Poor Dart.

I dont think he'll get thrown in there too soon. Wilson can be manageable. That defense should be pretty good

As a Mizzou fan...LB3 would be awesome for me to see. He could have went anywhere after his freshman year was shit. Stayed and bought into the program. Love this guy.

Guessing they will try for McCord but no idea where they want him for value.

Shough probably goes off soon tonight with Green and company. Milroe should be there for us, well maybe, but don't think he is the target.

I'm hoping for TE or CB at 46.
ot best RB available?

They traded the pick before 11pm eastern, which was 10pm central time. What time did you get to bed? 9pm your time? Did you eat dinner at the restaurant before 5pm so you could get the discount?
No. I get tired easily after getting out of the hospital

We hope you are doing better my friend; and can enjoy tonight's Draft.

There are some interesting options out there ... from LB (Carson Schwesinger) to ... monster-S (Emmanwori) ... Edge (Ezeiruaku, and a couple others) ... OT (Aireontae Ersery) ... several TEs ... and a Bunch of CBs and WRs.

Some will not be there at #46 but many will. I'm thinking WR. How about you?

Benmo may be a better scheme fit and that is who the Rams may be chasing after.

I see a likely scenario and a much less likely scenario:

1) Likely: Wilson starts. Gets you a 4-5 record by Nov and they feel compelled to start Dart. Dart muddles through, doesn't look great, a flash here or there but not good. They end closer to 5-6 to 12-13. Dabol is fired. New regime comes in, no allegiance to Dart. Throw him out to the wolves while getting ready for the franchise to pivot for a big talent. A kid who needed to land in the right place with a good offensive infrastructure and being able to sit for a year or more is ultimately given no chance.

2) Less likely but more optimistic! Wilson starts. The defense is very good like you say and keeps games close. Still probably 4-5ish into Nov. Dart given the reigns. Dabol does for Dart what he did for Daniel Jones that 1st year. Much of the offense is 1st read and run. Dart gives even a little more athletically than he's shown in college and even shows some more post snap recognition than he's done to this point. Either saves Dabol's job or shows enough that the next regime throws resources at him (and hires a very good OC) so that he's got a shot at being a mid tier NFL QB.

I guess we'll never know. It could be that the Rams convinced everyone that they're interested in drafting a QB or even Dart specifically when in reality they were never interested.

Yeah, damn that circumstantial evidence!

I for one am glad we didn't spend a 1st on him. Love that we look like we can set up for a move on a QB who has the potential to be quite a bit better than him next year.

I think the Giants are pretty committed to Schoen and Daboll, 7-8 wins should be doable

Maybe a great RB?
