All I said was he's not good by saying a word that rhymes with ducks but starts with s instead and I got moderated for that? I'm sorry, I'm not understanding why that's a bad thing if I'm talking a out his actual play on the field. David Long has shown that he's not a good CB. I wish he'd turn it around but facts are facts.
Yeah - I don’t need to add any extra words to spell it out,but yes Sir I believe your right on DL22.
RR31 being hurt is not good.He hurt himself just balling & playing tough making a GREAT diving special teams play in the end zone.

DD21 is list as not feeling good so he should be alright. He brings a lot to the DB group.Mcvay talks him up.

Nick Scott & Burgees are getting back into it. D. Williams though is The Guy that helps RAMsey out when healthy.
Last week was a rough a couple times.

And the Titans, and the Panthers, and the Cowboys, and the WFT, and the Browns, and the aints, etc etc.
I guess the rule here is to keep drafting and developing RBs and to try and avoid being too reliant on a single back.

Kind of like the Rams were doing, lol. It's just a tough spot.

He was in single coverage with Green and just got physically beat.
As many very, very good CBs have. Not defending him. I think he should have been let go a long time ago. He has never showed much. I would say though that he also, just like D Williams and Rapp and others could benefit from being asked to do what they do best. It seems none of our guys do well standing flat footed waiting for some one to come to them and then responding late when the pass happens 4 yards in front of them. At least meet them at the top of the 5 yard limit and push them around a little. I know we have some small CBs, but at least get close to them and hand fight a bit and maybe get some leverage, make them chose a direction you have help. Instead of just letting them go wherever they want and reacting late. The D should be at least trying to dictate something instead of read and reacting LATE. Even Long could probably be better.

I guess the flipside is that they had guys who could do both last year in Hill and Johnson.

I'm sorry, but I don't think all of these problems are coaching issues.. some players just have limitations and you have to try and coach around them. That's what I think we're seeing, more than anything else, in the Rams defensive backfield.

I was wondering if I was remembering wrong.. nope.

The Rams problems in this game were execution, far more than scheme. Maxx Williams torched them.. the guy Johnson would normally be on.. along with AJ Green against Long. The Rams played plenty of press in this game as well as off coverage.. like they did last year.

I'm going to keep going back to personnel as the biggest challenge for the D right now. Long was supposed to be a Hill replacement and Rapp was supposed to be a Johnson replacement. They've created two gaping holes in our coverage.

So with D Will, Rochelle, and Deayon out. Who is our 3rd corner??

Ramsey, Long (lmao) and who???

Brian Allen and Hav out. Henderson out.

There is zero chance we win this game. Cant wait for another prime time game ass beating. Our bad luck is insane.

DWill should be playing, and Burgess likely comes in as the nickel.
