He may not be ready, I have no way of knowing, but he still may be more ready than Evans or Anchrum for a starting RT role. Alaric Jackson has had 9 total regular season snaps in his NFL career, all in that Houston game you bring up when he, Wolford and several other offensive players substituted in late for a game thought to be well won. Wolford also had 9 snaps in the Texans game, going 1 for 2 while taking a sack, but I'm not ready to criticize a couple players coming in cold with other subs on their 9 snap initiation.
I'd be surprised to see Noteboom starting at RT, I'm not sure he has ever played the position in the NFL anyway, although what really scares me off of him is a potential injury as that would leave us with nothing behind Whitworth for the remainder of the season and through the play-offs.
jmo.
Havenstien got hurt ? I just was reposting in this thread.

Havenstein and DD21 were added to the COVID lost. Man, we're getting ABSOLUTELY rolled tomorrow.

Wow - ok got it.

Sort of sucks ,but Noteboom playing RT in the 6 man set was good to see.Have confidence he can handle the position. Mcvay said during the week you can’t tell me Joesph Noteboom isn’t a top 11 (22) type of player.
Is DD21 out as well.

Looking for:

Ramsey/Donald/Floyd/Miller/ Gaines to turn it up. Contain Murray/Connor running.

Control the ball on offense especially in first half. More Michel and get a halftime lead. Let the halftime lead stat kick in.

Heard DD21 was sick, but didn’t know it was Covid.with RR31 out David Long has to step up.
The Rams still have the talent & mindset to win,but just makes the adversity change the dynamics.

Should be a very fun game to watch. I love it.Always when a player goes down another has to step up.
I like the new Covid rules with The Whole Covids Practice Sqaud rules.

Sounds good, but this halftime stat will come to an end.Sort of scares me now.Still The Rams coaching staff does an excellent job with there research.
Brings me back to the question of Mcvay & the start of games.Should that changes ? I think it has it’s up & downs.

A” Robinson has stepped up.Last week though he got less reps.which was good.

OBO though Rolb & Miller playing LOLb is what I’d like to see more of with Floyd switching back & forth.
Ernest Jones is the man.Troy Reeder coming in less.Maybe bringing in Burgees more in the box as well a couple more times.

Green destroyed Long in the last game.

Hope they have a plan to help Long against Green in this game.

Green had the one big play against Long, but otherwise had 4 catches for 26 yards. The Cardinals’ WRs had 13 receptions for 167 yards. The bigger problem was the run defense, which allowed 216 yards on 40 attempts. Hopefully, we’ll see a better effort there tonight.

I knew after Henderson came out that we would have more missing....

Havenstein is big... but if this is all we got missing for this game - its doable.

However we will also see what the next weeks bring.

The Chicago Bulls have 10 players in protocol or some shit...

I can't argue that the secondary lost a couple of key guys and of course it makes a difference, but you have to also agree that Morris's approach is has been very suspect as well.
Suspect? No.
He’s had games where it didn’t work.. and, again.. personnel.

Looks to me like he started playing more soft coverage after that game when he had to bench Long.

Looked like he was trying to work it back in more with Williams last week.

This is where our big stars with roll players and little depth comes into play and potentially hurts us. Cards have much better depth and can handle guys out. We really need said Ram stars to shine big-time tonight if we hope to pull a win out.

Long gave up like 3 big completions in the first quarter alone to include a TD pass, just going off memory here but he might need some help tonight.

Will be interesting too to see if they go with more Rochell than Long. I don't have a feel on that one either way.

I’d disagree.
Yeah.. run d was an issue.. but so much of that yardage was gained when the game was over.
Long got beat very easily and not only by Green. There's a reason he was benched.

And just remember, the cards got waxxed by the Panthers one month ago with freaking PJ Walker at QB. Yeah, i know McCoy was their starting QB, but, it shows you, they have weaknesses. Most notably, stopping the run.

Oh man the hits keep coming. At this stage I would stick Evans in at RT and Keep Boom in the heavy sets. I would run the ball a whole lot in this game. Or flip them if you think they know the blocking assignments.
I like Note as the 6th also, better feet which I think suits that role. Evans at the RT and hope he can hold up.
