It will factor in, especially since we have spent literally zero in FA.

Unless we sign a backup QB, this is likely a 5th round comp pick.

For a reasonable deal. I swear if they try and bring Wolf or Perkins back as a backup. I'm watching the Lions or Jags all season if they're on TV instead lol

Nahhh not even close. I wish him well. Like I said if they weren't going to take a retread (Mayfield is that) then they likely would draft a QB. His ego is getting in the way of common sense. The Bucs gave him a bridge contract. Watch them draft a mid first round QB who needs a year of coaching up. If they were serious about him it would be a multi-year deal. IMO he will be on the market again next year.

If Tanner McKee falls to 36 the Rams should take him. He's probably the most NFL ready QB in this draft. IMO he has one of the highest ceilings. But I think he will go in day one. He's a pure pocket passer so I doubt he drops below the Bucs at 19.

That's why I think they will be looking at a QB in the 5th round range and if he drops that far Clayton Tune doesn't have franchise skills but he looks like he would be a solid tier two QB in a year or two. That is to say a good career backup. Good enough to win games on a decent team. He lacks the big arm but he can drive the ball with accuracy out to about 20-25 yds and that is normally good enough. In other words he's what they had hoped Wolford would be. He's the kind of backup QB no one is going to poach each year but you're glad you have him when he's needed.

Why does Jimmy Crappolo get a contract worth 25 million while Mayfield gets peanuts? I don't get it.

So much for Stafford being hurt/out in 2023 and McVay handing QB over to Baker
