Found it on an NFL Facebook group I am a member of. And yeah its the Skins. And I think it's Tank Younger.Great Photo!
Is that 1950's Rams - Redskins? Now those are Throwback Uniforms!
No ... No ... No!People need to slow their roll a bit.... Baker played great yesterday.
But he has had great games before... he had a 5 TD pass performance before and a 400-yard 4 td game before.
The issue with him has always been consistency and injuries.
There's not a breakdown of it, player by player.. but at Over The Cap... they have a restructure potential page.. It suggests the Rams could open up as much as $97 million!!Those are the two guys I see going. Higbee proved yesterday how important a dynamic TE can be to this offense. Problem os Higbee only has a game like that 2 or 3 times a yr and then is mostly invisible most of the season with not much of an impact.
Move him and add a young TE early that can be more dynamic.
Floyd just costs too much so move him or restructure him somehow so you gain some cap room.
Was thinking Wagner would be gone, but now I can see them bringing him back if he wants to keep playing.
Restructure Ramsey if they see him as a guy that can play 5 or 6 more yrs, eventually moving to Safety. Trade him if you feel you can get top value for him.
All schemes are about getting the ball to receivers. Historically the WCO is a moving scheme, with boots and misdirection. Baker has great mobility and you feel that when he is out there. But he also has the arm to use the entire field which is something McVay likes to do in his wrinkle of the scheme. So he is an ideal QB for what McVay does I think.I agree with a lot of what you post - not sure Baker is a perfect scheme fit.
McVay's scheme with the Rams is about getting the ball to WR's and Baker seems to have problems with doing that consistently over his career.
If he plays close to yesterday the rest of the way, agreed.Baker is....
....going to be playing for either the Dolphins, Raiders, Titans, Jets or Bucs next season.....
the Rams will have a *new* #2 QB next year and it will not be Wolf or Perk. I'd be curious to see what becomes of Mike White pending what the Jets "brain trust" comes up with
Whatever it takes. Stafford #9 might have one full season in his worn battered body.... that's it.I think we are getting ahead of ourselves with Mayfield… But.. I can see why.
Starting QB’s are hard to find… in Mayfield we have an experienced / young starter that could be our starter for many years. Longer than what is projected with Stafford.
How do we keep him?
Hopefully the YouTube contract adds some additional cap space. There's not a breakdown of it, player by player.. but at Over The Cap... they have a restructure potential page.. It suggests the Rams could open up as much as $97 million!!
That sounds crazy.. but it does leave open the possibility of the Rams going big one more time, imo.
I think bakers mobility is overstated because he is short - so people think he is more mobile then he really isAll schemes are about getting the ball to receivers. Just saying he is young with no health concerns. Not long ago we were discussing Stafford's elbow. Also he is old. Baker is not. So I think it warrants discussion is all.
Same with all our highly paid stars. When you have our model and it crashes, there is now the consideration of value vs production with all of them.
A normal head coach may be willing to stand pat and make another go of it. I don't see McVay being that guy. If he returns. I think all possibilities are going to be analyzed and out of that the stage is set for a dramatic offseason. The kind that shocks casual observers, but we of course are not casual observers.
Absolutely correct about Baker. So we should get him on the cheap! That’s a win!!People need to slow their roll a bit.... Baker played great yesterday.
But he has had great games before... he had a 5 TD pass performance before and a 400-yard 4 td game before.

I don't care about 40 times. Stafford is a guy who can move but doesn't like to. He likes to win from the pocket. Goff is the same way. Baker is much more of the moving type wco favor. That is all I'm saying. He has that working for him with the age and younger body.I think bakers mobility is overstated because he is short - so people think he is more mobile then he really is
here is something to consider.
Matt Stafford 40 time 4.81
Baker Mayfield 40 time 4.84
Well that was many moons ago for Stafford. Plus elusive and fast are two different things. Just my take and no offense meant.I think bakers mobility is overstated because he is short - so people think he is more mobile then he really is

I would not be surprised to see us deal AD to Pittsburgh; I've thought about making a mock draft that gives us two firsts and a second from Pittsburgh for AD.
AD is safe.
Stafford is safe.
Kupp is safe.
Obviously, just my opinion.
The difference with those guys from some of the others mentioned is that these three carried the Rams to a Super Bowl win and are still ballers.
I wish you were the Steelers' GM ... and a salary-cap-magician.I would not be surprised to see us deal AD to Pittsburgh; I've thought about making a mock draft that gives us two firsts and a second from Pittsburgh for AD.
baker Mayfield is not all that elusive.... he is just average mobility wise.Well that was many moons ago for Stafford. Plus elusive and fast are two different things. Just my take and no offense meant.
