Yea he didn't get hit by anyone. Just fell to the ground and gravity injured his shoulder. Gravity, the weakest of the four fundamental forces of nature almost ripped his arm off. His own body couldn't hold up to falling down. Delicate is an understatement, every time he got hit in preseason he got de-cleated.
I have no gripe with our current strategy and trading top picks for proven talent. BUT, when that is your strategy you cant take risky players with your top picks. It's not sustainable. The only way we can keep this formula going is to hit on majority of our mid round picks...and also get lucky with a few late rounders. Drafting a 5th WR who is 5'8 150lbs is not smart given the scarcity of our draft capital.
