Envy is a green eyed Monster....

As long suffering fans we know what it's like to have hopes about a free agent and then losing hm to someone else...Trades that were not sweet enough to get a deal done, with our only hope being a high draft pick the next year after another horrific season...

Matthew Stafford
Von Miller
OBJ

Could you imagine how we would have felt when the Rams were in St Louis and a single player was signed like one of those above? It seemed like every good veteran was getting signed by Bellicheat for cheap in New England, because those vets were chasing a Super Bowl. We hated the Patriots for other good reasons.

Our situation is different in that we have a palatial, state-of-the-art stadium in which to play. Southern California is a draw by itself with year around nice weather and beautiful places to go and live. The team has a history of winning since 2017 with a young innovative HC. All we hear from the pundits is about how we're "all in," (I hate that phrase anymore....Find other descriptions, folks! ) "They have no excuses now....the pressure is really on McVay..Stafford....etc..." What we are really hearing is "Who the hell do they think they are? The Rams are not following convention and need to be taken down a peg or two." So they throw shade and back handed compliments. They and other team's fans want us to fail. Let's not give them that satisfaction

Depends on how you look at it. I saw tons of "I'm a Rams fan now" and "Hope the Rams win it all" from Detroit and Denver fans who love Stafford and Miller. Then there's the Browns fans "They'll regret it" and a few jealous whiner fans "hope it blows up."

Screw the haters, they all wish their GM was like this.

It might just be media and YouTubers in Detroit, but the attitude has sort of changed in the last few weeks as Stafford succeeded in LA and Goff has yet to win a game in the Motor City. Not everyone is like that, but the envy is growing.

Once we win it all the hate will pour in.

Until then I think it’s more of a how the hell are they doing this attitude followed by a still couldn’t win with all those old ring chasers. Make no mistake we will be the butt of many jokes if we fall on our faces now.

A few days before the start of the 2017 season, I was listening/watching my favorite morning sports radio show which is also simulcast on TV here in NYC (and elsewhere). The co-hosts were discussing and analyzing the up-coming match-ups for Week 1.

Well, most of them.

When the Colts/Rams game was brought-up, one of the co-hosts (a talented guy but an arrogant asshole) dismissed the game without discussion by stating 'The Rams just suck. They always do.'

I don't miss those days.

A few days later, Sean McVay coached his first game, and the Rams destroyed the Colts.

By-the-way, not long after that, the co-host (Craig Carton) was indicted for fraud, subsequently convicted, did time ... and is now back on the same station

Have to win or it will just be humorous to some. Tough schedule ahead and if the Rams don't win the division they could be on the road for the playoffs and underdogs in all contests. Cardinals need to lose and Rams need to win, that's it.

The only people I’m seeing hating the Rams the Steelers fans. They are arrogant around my area and felt OBJ could help save their season. Nobody told them that they weren’t in the running:laugh4::laugh4::laugh4::laugh4::laugh4::laugh4:

I’m guessing the usual customers are angry, or just angrier, like NFC West fans, Aints fans, Patriot fans, and Green Bay fans.

No worries...

Many like that we are all in and envy us. Some will hate because they are just haters. Some are jealous because their teams didn't think about foregoing draft picks like we did but you have to be at back end of draft for that to work right and most teams aren't there.

We have a history of stubbing our toe. The laughing stock of the NFL for years. No respect.
We have a qb who hasn't won big games. He has lots of help this time
"All in" might not be enough. we get to see the outcome right before our eyes. Super entertaining if nothing else. Go rams
