INDIANAPOLIS -- When Los Angeles Rams coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead took over in 2012, they had to churn one of the worst rosters in the league. They also made the big trade with Washington that brought a bounty of draft picks.
Now, in this offseason, they could again be facing a major roster turnover, though not necessarily by choice.
On Thursday, ESPN NFL Insider Mike Sando offered his list of the 10 teams facing the most potential roster change this offseason. At the top of the list? You guessed it, the Rams.
As Sando notes, the Rams have 15 players who have been released already or will hit the market as unrestricted free agents. Those players combined to play a whopping 9,086 snaps in 2015.
It's more than likely, though, the Rams won't have a ton of actual turnover relative to the potential there. They figure to have around $60 million in cap space and have prioritized signing their own free agents.
