1. He is suspended for a year without pay just like S Peyton who did not know about Bounty gate.
2. Loses his ability to be prosecutor, judge and jury.
3. The NFL commits $100 M of their portion of this years revenue to domestic abuse/women shelters in the US

I have always had a hard time believing what he did in the elevator was news to the NFL. This mess is all about protecting the NFL IMAGE/SHIELD. Makes you wonder about the effectiveness and fairness of all of their investigations.

This happens all the time in the NFL, for whatever reason since there is a video Rice is being made an example of.

Okay, now we've beat up on both sides of the crooked aisle of politics, (the last 3 presidents) and the cheating Patriots

and may I add....

I always wanted Roger to do well. The Spygate thing left a bad taste in my mouth. He covered it up. That was horrible. I had hoped there was more to the story or something behind the scenes... more than just protecting the Patriots and the NFL's image. It's image would have been better if it rooted out the scum and burned them at the stake in my opinion.

I think that booing the Commish at the draft was always classless. And I'd hoped he was doing the right thing.

But now we see he doesn't.

Which most likely means he hasn't.

As I opined in another post, when you are being a jerk, you don't get to be protected from exposure as a jerk.

I think there are 2 differences when comparing the two

1. Adam Silver didn't mess around and waste anytime and did what was best for his league / He came out looking powerful, trustworthy and decisive

2 They are equally grievous actions, both racism and beating women are deserving of lifetime bans
